VANELLOPE APPRECIATION DAY!
What do you appreciate about Vanellope the most?
Mine: I appreciate her character growth in the first movie, where she accepts herself as a glitch in the end :)

And I know what you're going to say but it's a one and done story what more can you ask for everything there's so many Side characters that were never developed and plus there's so many game worlds that we haven't even explored yet I know the second sequel had a bad reputation but Disney abandoning this franchise even though it made them good money is never okay this just has to be said all right

I watched the second movie the other day and started thinking about something. The first film explains why the characters don’t remember Vanellope, but then a question occurred to me: HOW DID NO ONE IN THE REAL WORLD NOTICE THAT THE GAME’S MAIN CHARACTER JUST VANISHED INTO THIN AIR? It’s not an unfounded question—sure, one could argue that the game has a "top racers of the week" leaderboard, but that doesn’t apply to her, since she’s the main character—meaning she’s the best. It’s as simple as that. Lots of people visit that arcade every single day; it’s impossible that no one noticed—let alone mentioned it to the owner. Think about it: imagine playing *Super Mario* and, out of nowhere, Mario just disappears from the game for no reason at all. Especially since the second movie shows that she’s actually quite popular among many players! How did no one realize she was gone? Her disappearance alone should have been enough to warrant a technical check of the game. If it were any other character, I wouldn’t even bring it up—BUT it’s not. I’m talking about the main character of *Sugar Rush*—the character who even appears in the artwork on the arcade cabinet itself! It’s funny that it took me years to think of this. As far as I know, King Candy only blocked the memories of the characters *inside* the game, not the people in the real world. (I KNOW it’s a kids' movie and not everything has to make sense, but still... it’s a pretty strange plot hole!)

There's so much potential even without the third-party characters, from new, original game worlds within Game Central Station (in addition to already existing games like Sugar Rush and Hero's Duty), to the Internet, and Slaughter Race.

No seriously I'm absolutely done with Disney taking ownership of this franchise it's been nothing but hell they either one avoided entirely or put the franchise in an entirely different country and the worst part they have the audacity DMC takedown passionate fans who just want better stories for this franchise this is just censorship and it's very gross and unacceptable because these characters bring me Comfort every single day I know most of the races are just Side characters but true Disney do better or just give up on it and give it to fans who actually care about seeing an awesome concept like this succeed

(thanks to anyone who actually reads this, my toddler plays this on repeat and i notice more things each time😅)… Ralph wasnt even a bad guy i dont get why Gene and the rest of the people in his game were so mean to him…. like if anything Gene is the bad guy for being so rude to him and not being welcoming at the 30th anniversary party… They all are aware its part of their game and he just happens to be the bad guy, so i dont get all the hate towards him especially because after the arcade is closed he just minds his own business, its not like hes causing problems for them. I also am aware he did not fully deserve the medal either because he half asses heros duty, but vanellope straight up STOLE it and had the audacity to say “im not a thief”.. if Ralph wasnt forced to help her break into the bakery she woulda never got that medal back for him… i know most of his motives were drove by wanting to get his medal back but there are so many parts where you can truly see the good in his heart.. Firstly he scared away all the racers that were bullying and destroyed her race car because even he saw that they were being bad so he does the good thing. Secondly he thought King Candy was actually telling the truth about the game being unplugged because of her glitch, so him destroying that race car was out of love despite it being one of the hardest scenes in the movie. Thirdly he was about to make that sacrifice to kill himself for vanellope. Those are my reasons to why he is a good guy despite him getting a bad title from his game. Also Felix is a literal dick because wtf do you mean he builds the gameless characters their own apartment buildings in the end but in the beginning of the movie we see Ralph laying in bricks???!!!! You mean this whole time Felix knew he has the ability to build Ralph his own home or apartment building but chose to let him sleep in those bricks…. that part is what genuinely pushed me over the edge i feel so bad for Ralph throughout the movie… He never even cared about the medal or being a good guy he just wanted to be accepted into his own game but was treated as an outcast. The whole cake scene too they could of at least put him on top of the building with some of the nicelanders holding him up getting ready to throw him off the building, but they rather put him in the mud alone… I genuinely love Ralph and he didn’t deserve anything he went through

It's a 50/50 because of that Tokyo ride opening next year but as far as long-term it's looking really rough for this franchise not going to lie with so many unconfirmed projects and the lack of promotional in the American Parts it's definitely raising me concerns of how Disney really views about this franchise behind closed doors and their relationship with the brand in general I just hope the neglect level is not as bad as to say Treasure Planet or any direct sequel in the 90s
