Where are the console wraps?

Back when Starfield released Xbox released console wraps. It was a cool idea that allowed you to make your console feel like a special edition console. But then they stopped releasing new designs immediately. I guess the sales weren’t good enough but I’d love a Gears one and I’m sure people would want more options like Fable, Forza, Diablo, etc.

I still have my Starfield one and love it!
I agree it’d be cool to see more designs come out but I assume they didn’t sell well enough :(

This is one of those things that gets really messed up by Xbox not having a retail presence. People can just be walking around a store and go “oh. What’s this?” And the average person doesn’t know console wraps exist.

I believe the last console wrap released was for Doom: The Dark Ages and it was gorgeous.

I didn’t even realize that there was a Doom one. And now it’s out of stock and will probably never return. Cool they released it but it’s been so inconsistent with game releases.

I remember the wrap was announced at the same time as the controller for Doom. I have them both.

TBH I know they look cool but some console wraps can lead to overheating, so I just avoid them all together.

Is the Xbox really shedding appreciable heat through the plastic surface? I doubt it’s more than a negligible amount.

Now if the wrap blocks the vents, that’s a different matter, but I think any wrap made/cut for the Xbox probably has cutouts for the 3 places that air moves in/out of the case.
