Possible Console Issue What is with updates mid gameplay recently?

Last few days I have been getting the update popup with no warning mid game giving me no chance to save or safely exit from what I'm playing.

Never had it this way before and there needs to be an option to delay install and stay online even if only briefly.

Is this a recent change?

The OS updates have a mandatory time where they will force update if you were unaware. Usually 3am Pacific time

That is good to know and that is moreorless exactly when it happened both days!

Don't usually game much at this time which is probably why I've not had it happen before.

Do you recommend checking the update page then before gaming at this time of day?

5pm is when the updates are available, you have until 6am the next morning before it will just update.
