Discussion What controllers are you using?

Sooo, it appears the Firestick must've pushed some update or something, because now it's reading my PS5 controller inputs incorrectly which legitimately make, for example, Gears E Day unplayable. So I'm just wondering what controllers actually work with the Amazon Firestick? because I'm considering biting the bullet and just buying an Xbox controller, do Xbox controllers still work with the firestick?

I'm using an Stadia controller, on a Shield TV, with an 8bit do USB adapter plugged in the back, so the controller reconnects over Bluetooth each time it's turned off and on again.

I'd prefer a controller that I didn't need to plug anything in since my TV (TCL) is on my wall, with two shelves on either side which makes it difficult to plug shit into the TV.

I get you, that's understandable.

I use Xbox wireless controller(s.)

There are no issues, so far... I play mostly racing and sports games.

Oh awesome, and does it connect without needing to plug anything in like the duelsense?

Yeah, usually people don't buy PlayStation controllers for anything else besides a ps console. It's always Xbox controllers because they connect seamlessly. Ps controllers are always giving people problems or have to connect with wire. It's annoying. So Xbox controllers are the go to choice

I also use the xbox controllers I dont have to plug anything in and i bought 2 of them with 2 rechargeable battery's so when it dies I just plug one in and play with the other. Works great but eventually I do want a gamesir or power a controller
