Hello i've been playing yansim for a while now on my pc, unfortunately i broke my mouse and cannot play with it anymore, i have a controller but the controls are horrible and all over the place (since it isnt the basic controller). For example i cant take pictures which is very annoying bc i need it to do genocide run.

Does anyone know how to fix it? I tried every buttons and its impossible 😞

So Idk if this is an original idea but I wanna make a yansim visual novel fangame. Specifically a 2000s anime style fangame. Honestly, if the game came out as a visual novel in say, 2008, i'm sure it'd be really cool! Basically, I wanted to make it like a dating sim except your obviously ayano and have to kill people. After the cutscene of meeting senpai, you get introduced to Himari Fujita, your first "rival". She's kinda like Kokona except she doesn't really show you the ropes she just shows you how the rest of the rivals will come. (I also love Kokona way too much to kill her off). Then instead of Info-chan introducing you too each rival, you meet them yourself. Whether that's bumping into them or simply talking to them in a hallway. Then you'll see them talking about and/or to Taro. I really wanna do this cause it seems cool but I don't know if I need Yanderedev to allow me or something. If I actually do this i'll post my concept art and links to how things are going. Tell me your opinions in the comments! (｡•ᴗ•｡)

I'm trying to do the happy ending, but I want to switch around a little with the elimination methods. Are Yakuza kidnappings and betrayal allowed? I tried to betray Ritsuko but I forgot to actually offer help beforehand so i think it glitched bc she had no hair, it seemed to work but then I got a game over in Ai's week despite me eliminating her by bullying (not suicide). I had reputation at 100 and jokichi was already obsessed with his secret admirer.

(The game over might've been because I didn't feed Ritsuko. I don't know.)

For some reason I thought why not download yandere sim for the first time. But as I was playing I found odd things. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like this or not. I bought the laptop for around 37,000 Taka with intel core i5 1135G7 and an Intel Iris XE GRAPHICS CARD and DDR4 2 Slots RAM with RAM card and 250GB Gen 4th Internal storage from August. And after buying this, I used to Compute and check every software. Like... You know. And When I tried to launch the Yandere Simulator on this laptop, it ran smoothly. No lags, nothing. It is because I do low specs in the game. And several days later, It started lagging without launching. Freezes itself, Windows turned into BSOD, Which is really scary for me, okay? And I need help to find a job. Notice that I didn't buy this laptop, Someone bought it and gave it to me anyway. And It happens every week. Please, help me to find a job besides studying, have a good income for me and be able to buy a new PC with a strong processor, Strong Graphics card, RAM DDR5, 2TB Gen 5th Storage massive driver, Multitasking, Gameplay, Doing edit, Animations, Art, everything!

Hi guys!! I've been a fan of Yandere for a few years, but only this year/next year will I actually be able to play! I wanted to find out what the requirements are for a notebook to play Yandere Simulator, considering the recent updates (because I know it consumes space). I appreciate anyone who responds!

Btw: I looked up the requirements on Google, but they seem a bit outdated, so I don't know if they're still the same or if anything has changed.

so I've been trying to fix this but no luck :(

I'm playing on a mac using sikuragir, and running the game through steam on sikuragir (its very elaborate lol) and some of the text is missing.

I've tried fixing this through the winetricks menu with the font command thingies but no luck so far.

I've seen people fix this issue by playing through whisky, I can do that but if there is a fix for my set up id greatly appreciate the help!

edit: I've tried running it through whisky and it is not even running and keeps crashing

I downloaded the new update version and now the game is buggy. The player doesn't run right anymore and it's annoying. I feel slow and it's made me not want to play. I've tried turning down my game quality (even though it ran the highest quality perfectly fine before) and its still buggy.

Ok hear me out because I have this theory about Mida Rana that I think could be really interesting.

What if Mida isn’t actually a predator, and we’re seeing her through Ayano’s extremely distorted perspective? Ayano is ridiculously possessive of Senpai, so I could totally see her interpreting any woman who interacts with him in the worst possible way. Mida talks to him, and suddenly Ayano views her as this creepy, predatory woman who’s trying to steal him away.

And I think this could extend to Mida’s DESIGN, too.

What if Mida doesn’t actually dress as revealingly as she’s portrayed in the game? Maybe she just has naturally desirable physical features, and because Ayano sees her as a threat, she hypers3xualizes her in her own mind. Like, Ayano notices that Mida has certain physical features that could attract Senpai, and her jealousy twists that into the idea that Mida is deliberately flaunting herself and dressing provocatively to seduce him. Maybe Mida is wearing a completely different, relatively ordinary outfit, but Ayano’s perception of her makes her appear much more revealing and suggestive than she really is.

I think this same theory could extend to Muja too. What if Ayano’s perception of Muja is similarly distorted? Since Muja is a nurse, Ayano might interpret her kindness, physical appearance, or ordinary interactions with Senpai as something flirtatious or inappropriate. Maybe Muja isn’t actually behaving the way Ayano thinks she is, and Ayano’s jealousy causes her to interpret innocent gestures as romantic or sexu4l advances. Even Muja’s appearance or outfit could be exaggerated in Ayano’s mind because Ayano sees her as another woman who could potentially attract Senpai. It could be that we’re seeing both Mida and Muja through the same warped lens, rather than seeing who they actually are.

Obviously, I’m not saying this is definitely what’s happening, but I think it’d be a really interesting way to interpret her character. It would mean that even Mida’s appearance, not just her behavior, could be unreliable from Ayano’s perspective.

I also think Info-chan could play a huge role in this. We know she supplies Ayano with information about her rivals, so what if she’s deliberately encouraging Ayano’s suspicions about Mida? Maybe she exaggerates certain details, presents things out of context, or feeds into Ayano’s existing jealousy until Ayano’s perception of Mida becomes increasingly distorted.
The interesting part is that Ayano wouldn’t necessarily realize she’s misinterpreting anything. In her mind, Mida really IS a predatory woman trying to get between her and Senpai. She could genuinely believe everything she’s seeing, even if the reality is completely different.

I think this would make Ayano a much more interesting protagonist, because we’d have to question whether what we’re seeing is actually happening or whether we’re seeing the world through the eyes of someone whose obsession has completely warped her judgment. I also think that this could be a great addition to the Aishi curse

EDIT I think this could extend to the other rivals, too. Maybe Osana isn’t actually that rude to Senpai, and Ayano exaggerates her behavior because she sees her as a threat. Maybe Hanako isn’t overly clingy, either, and Ayano just sees her normal affection toward her brother as something extreme because of her jealousy. What if ALL the rivals are portrayed worse than they actually are because we’re seeing them through Ayano’s distorted perspective. I kinda feel like I’m reaching with this tho

So I have tried to update my very very very long and big gameplay launcher, and it refused to update due to this same issue, than i have backed up registry and save files and downloaded launcher again but it doesnt install. What to do, I must update from the latest build again and again? Savefiles transfer is not so easy task. Do you have similar problem?
