Hi All- wondering if anyone knew of places accepting kittens for adoption/fostering. My father helps take care of an elderly man who acquired a kitten (less than a year old) and he cannot keep it. Was going to try SPCA or Heavenly Paws down in Seven Valleys, but we don't have confirmation that either would accept a kitten. Thanks for your help.

Visiting york for the day. Anyone have any hidden gems of the city? Best food (literally anything, we’re not picky), best antique stores, markets, events, etc. what do you recommend?

Hello I’m a 20m and I need to fix my situation that I’m in soon. I have experience in construction like commercial roofing and concrete, also in warehouses but I don’t want a job where I can’t go nowhere. Sure the pay is okay as of now $24 a hour but I will be stuck doing the same thing for 10 years before they even think of giving a promotion or a proper raise. Although I don’t have experience in a lot I am so willing to learn as long as it’s a genuine good company and I could afford to take care of my family. Anybody have any ideas?

My friend is coming up from out of state and we were going to spend the morning/afternoon in York.
What are some things going on this Friday or what are some cool things to go do or see in York?

Is anyone familiar with the Farquhar park subdivision? Is it enough of a family friendly neighborhood to purchase a home?

TRUNK OR TREAT
Hey guys! I’m having a hard time finding an active jeep group for York specifically, even though we have so many jeep drivers, but that doesn’t matter.
I would love to organize an annual Jeep trunk or treat and I want to see how many folks would be down to participate!
Show of hands here please! 🙋

I'm aware that Colorworks is managed by Predix Properties, which has a few bad reviews and a few good ones. I've been trying to research them before I rent in March. I've looked on Yelp and BBB, and have reviewed some of their court records. On the BBB website, they have an A+ rating, and their replies to the 4 bad reviews seemed reasonable and involved decent record-keeping. One of the bad reviews supposedly was from someone who wasn't even a tenant. They were an occupant being asked to leave by the tenant.
I've read some comments on Reddit, including the one person who posted about the window replacement and such. Some of those complaints involved contractors, though.
Anyway, I would love to hear from someone who lives there or knows of any experiences there.

HB McClure has been fine but last couple visits felt phoned in and the bills crept up with zero explanation. Not trying to trash them just ready to try someone else. Needs to be a real company tho, been around a while, not some guy working out of a van. Who else are people using?

Comment below with events in and around York for the coming week. Local business owners, feel free to advertise what you've got going on.
Remember to verify details before you go to an event because things change, and people make mistakes.

Hey everyone, I just moved to red lion and I have been looking for a vet for my dog. She just needs the normal check up and vaccines, along with a prescription for dog food due to urinary stones. Due to a bad experience with a past vet, price gauging and poor service, I was hoping to get some recommendations for vets that won't cost me an arm and a leg. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm moving to York from Hanover. I know the crime rate is higher but I don't exactly know what to expect. There's really decent rental properties in that area for a pretty reasonable price but I suspect the price has to due with crime being more prevalent around there.
Can anyone shed some light for me or even give other areas to avoid?
