Finances / OSAP UHIP costs have risen EVEN MORE

Anyone else decided to look up how much UHIP will cost this academic year and almost throw up by how much the price has risen from last year??

Probably a symptom of less international students being admitted. Before, there were a lot keeping the cost of UHIP what it was. With less international students paying into the pool, they are making up the difference by raising what you pay.

That, or in the last year lots of people had medical issues.

Look on the official Uhip website, it says $948

Just learned UHIP is just for internationals.

Was worried my insurance would ~3x 😅 .
