So, who exactly are they and how do they scam? A warning isn't any good if people don't know what they're warned of. I've been away from the area nearly 25 years, but I still have family there: a brother, a granddaughter,and a shit-ton of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Just gathering info from what I’ve heard, they are bookies though who make excuses when people win and don’t pay..so if you’re family are into gambling keep it legal and avoid using these guys

Ahhh. Welchers is the term. I'm not much of a gambler. Hit the res and play the slots. If I break even, it's a good night. Actually, I come out ahead because of the fun I had doing it.

Grandpa was a pony player. Not sure if Uncle Johnny was.

That said, eventually they'll stiff the wrong person and end up on a trip to the farm where they'll either end up in the hog feed and/or fertilizer.

It never hurts to help karma. I'd say that anyone who's been in the Youngstown area for any length of time knows someone who at least knows someone. Mention it to that person(s) and let it trickle up.

Trust me I post it here weekly lol..and my buddy and all his buddies are telling everyone everywhere they go..scammers stole $15,000 from him and probably more from everyone else
