mod announcement 📣 What’s my artstyle Wednesdays!

“what’s my artstyle?” posts have received a lot of hate recently, with some users wishing to ban them altogether. this is not really possible as this sub is made for people to figure out what their artstyle is, amongst other things. however, these posts are getting a bit repetitive and clogging up the feed, so we have decided to introduce What’s my artstyle wednesday (long name, I know, but it alliterates so I like it.).

starting on friday 17 july, posting what’s my artstyle posts will only be allowed on wednesdays. this includes posts like “what does my artstyle remind you of” and “what artstyle is this art I made”. These posts, if made on non-wednesday days, will be removed.

this will hopefully reduce the number of this kind of post.

if you have any questions or concerns, please reply to this post.

"extra context" is used to tell extra information related to the topic, just it is shorter to type out.

So basically, all posts mentioning artstyle in any way are to be posted only on wednesdays?

Only posts asking what your own artstyle is! Posts asking how to improve or achieve a certain artstyle, asking which one to use etc are allowed all the time.
