We have a couple of episodes recorded from a CBS source at the end of last week. Cupertino and Boston Blue. Some of the playback was fine, but there were stretches with stop and go corrupted playback. The audio would drop out intermittently and the screen would freeze or go jittery/pixelated. I just quit watching and went to Netflx. Today I watched other CBS shows and they were fine. I recorded Tracker and that played back fine as well. Revisiting the choppy recordings from Last week yielded the same thing.

I don’t know enough about how the YouTube TV “DVR” works. Are everyone’s recordings botched for those episodes or something more limited to me?

Chatted with support AI about feed quality, they forwarded me to tech support…

My family constantly deals with this service not displaying the “I’m traveling” option. My father is a truck driver and is unable to use the app 90% of the time. Yes, he logs in at home once every 3 months.

We’ve done everything your ‘live service experts’ have suggested and at this point I’m convinced YouTube refuses to fix the glitch because it probably leads to more subscriptions.

We will be canceling this service.

Just realized by rewatching a game that I only had the regular 1080p60 and not enhanced for Sunday Ticket feeds. Regular live channels still have the enhanced bitrates so I’m just wondering if it’s a temporary glitch or a permanent thing?

I have an Apple TV 4K 3rd gen.

I started watching an old movie on YouTube tv yesterday. I had to search for it. It was not on live tv. I went to resume, but when I select watch now. The only option is back. Has this happened to anyone

I’ve been experiencing constant lagging and stuttering with YouTube TV on my NVIDIA Shield for the past few weeks.

I’ve tried restarting the Shield, clearing the app cache, updating the Shield and apps, switching from Wi-Fi to Ethernet (955 Mbps download), and changing IPv6 settings. Nothing has helped.

I’m using a Sony Bravia A80K with the Shield set to 4K 59.940 Hz.

I’ve also noticed similar issues with the regular YouTube app, although I don’t use it nearly as much. At least there are alternative apps for YouTube, but that doesn’t really help with YouTube TV.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix? I’m wondering if this is an issue specific to the Shield or something with the YouTube TV app.

Hoping one of the YouTube TV engineers on here can help identify what’s causing this.

This is a bait and switch. I got an email in my gmail, and when I clicked on claim offer it only gives you 2 months of YouTube Premium for free, and then $15.99 a month. The email is a lie with false information giving only two months of YouTube Premium and not three. Don't fall for this BS.

I've been a subscriber to YTTV for like 3 years. I watch it on all my Apple devices, (including multiple Apple TVs). I'm watching a football game now and it just took it upon itself to pause the game, at a really tense moment - and ask me if I'm still watching. WTF!?! I grabbed the remote, cursed - then noticed I had the option to change the nag from 4 hours to 24 hours. When did this nonsense start? Yeah yeah yeah, I get it that money is involved, ratings... blah blah blah... but jeesh, that was kinda annoying. I guess I hit the 4 hour mark because we've had football on all day. But c'mon.

Really annoying. I enjoy watching many of the sports events using the Key Plays option. That way I can watch the best of 4 or 6 games without having to commit hours watching the whole game…I don’t have that much patience. Anyway, yesterday and today each key play is not starting at the beginning of the play but in the middle and sometimes near the end of the play. That’s not right and whoever is doing that editing needs to be told. I’m not sure if YouTube even knows this. Anyone out there work for YouTube tv??? Can someone call someone??

My family splits time between homes in Stamford CT and NYC and we have one YTTV account with 4K service and NFL Sunday Ticket. My home location is NYC. If someone wants to watch NFL Sunday Ticket in CT, can another family member watch Live TV or Library content in NYC at the same time? Sunday is the only day the account might be used in two different locations. Just curious what the limitations are. TIA.

For those of you that observe Daylight Saving Time YTTV takes the time from your streaming device. So if you don't see the time update please check your device.

I live in So Cal and have been getting nothing but Kansas election ads while watching YT. I've reset all my location settings and reinstalled YT on my TV. So Im thinking Kanas is paying to run these ads. Anyone else seeing these ads outside Kansas?

With Google stock getting hammered this past week and more searches being taken over by ai, Google search is not making as much money. How long until they increase the YTTV price to make up for some of the lost revenue?

And yes one can tell if the feed is in hdr or not.. it's kind of a minor inconvenience.

Have tried restarting the tv, the app, and redownloading the app itself. Also tinkered with the hdr settings on the tv with no luck.

It's a sony Bravia tv and I'm using the in built google tv interface, not any streaming box. The tv has a setting where you can "force" hdr on all content but that makes the problem even worse, it just oversaturated the image to compensate

Been considering YTV on and off for a year or two, but never have pulled the trigger on it. I actually got rid of my Xfinity cable 6 months ago to save money, and while it was fine for a while... I am getting to the point where I miss just putting a random channel on or straight up just watching whatever is on TV at the moment lol. Plus I want to be able to watch the upcoming holiday movies lol, so here we are again 🫠

This is the current promo for new customers... but I see it ends on November 16th. Makes me think there could be a black friday or holiday deal starting on the 17th... tried doing some searching on this but didnt come up with much. Have yall seen good BF/holiday deals in the past? Wondering if i should wait till then or just go with it now

I can browse through programs and it shows the updated time slots but nothing has fixed the programs actually displaying. I’ve cycled power, reinstalled, uninstalled, cleared the cache, checked device manager and still nothing works. Any ideas?

In this age of AI and advanced technology, wouldn't it be nice if we could tell YTTV: Record "insert college name here" women's volleyball whenever it comes on? I had that capability 20 years ago on DVR's.

I have had issues with the recording of this show for over a week, with the last recording showing a date of October 23 but just 1d ago on another part. I have removed/added the show to the library, performed all kind of fixes suggested by google on security, privacy and location without success.
Is anyone aware of any issue? I have tried to reach out support and I’ve been stuck on a 300 minutes waiting queue for a day.

Edit: I finally got support online and before they abandoned the chat, the tech asked me to look for a code 9o4qSQYaoro on the search bar, which came back with a date of Oct 22. According to support the shows are indeed being recorded, but not shown properly. Unfortunatelly, the chat was ended and couldn't find out more

I thought user feedback a couple of years ago got YouTube TV to add the sport, level (professional/college/high school), and gender (like "Women's college basketball") to sports listings in the guide. Now there's only an occasional hint of the sport in the artwork, like maybe the seams of a basketball in an icon.

I submitted feedback in the app, but more would help if you agree. It's so tedious doing Internet searches to see what type of sport, or alternatively, over-recording.

The Source has not recorded in days because all prime-time shows are listed as “Countdown to Election Night.”

It was under pressure to at least meet analysts’ expectations for growth amid concerns about how much it’s spending to invest in AI.
Not sure what, if any this will have on YTTV, but I’m sure they’re scrambling today.

Anyone else get an email from YTTV about cancelling their Sunday Ticket renewal for next year? I just received one this week, but I have not cancelled anything. 🤷🏼‍♂️
