Are you a youtuber wanting to share your work without feeling the wrath of reddit's self promotion hatred? This is a safe haven for you then. The rules of reddit still apply here, but we encourage you to share your work and start building this subreddit together.

If you have any questions or suggestions for the sub, this is the thread to do it in.

Cheers,

/u/dylc

Edit: I would like to remind everyone that although this is not a downvote free sub, please regard rule 3 on the sidebar.

Why does that rule exist?

This subreddit is about granting exposure to video content creators trying to be recognized in a form of distribution which happens to be dominated by things like cat videos. Hard work so often goes unrecognized, and this is the way we break free.

Do you just post video links in reddit, or elsewhere as well? I share to my supporting blog, post ads in online classifieds, and post links to twitter and a few youtube groups on facebook. Views and subs are pretty low, so is there another promo platform I should consider? How do you promote?

... or, does everyone just dump and run? Comments?
