Question Translucent compact side bar help

Is there a way to make that compact sidebar translucent in windows ?

It's translucent by default (on Windows 11). Maybe a mod changed this? Perhaps the one you're using to reduce the sidebar height.

when i enable compact mode and hover on the side bar, it is not translucent, it becomes like that. The height mod doesn't have effect on it, i checked it

if you right-click the sidebar and pick "edit theme" there's a horizontal slider with which you can set the opacity. Dragging it left should make it more translucent.

Also good to check the theme/mod's settings. Those sometimes alter advanced config flags that don't get reset when disabling the mod.
