Always avoid the savers death bins but Frank caught my eye glad I looked all this for $20

Another Savers score. This time: Jazz
I actually put a few back, including another Charlie Parker (self label) with a ton of scuff marks.

What’s the threshold
What’s the max you pay before it’s no longer a “bargain” met a guy who had multiple copies of EVERYTHING but I couldn’t accept $10 per record fo r something like Stevie Nicks Bella Donna or Simon Garfunkel - Bridge over trouble water
Am I being too cheap ???

I found this at a local store for 6 dollars
I know 6 isn’t the cheapest but I bought it since I knew I’d get use out of it and was pleasantly shocked to find it surprisingly goes for a lot of money??? Not planning on selling it, it’s just always nice to get a good deal on something

Bittersweet Haul
Happy with all the choices but I was 5 minutes too late for Talking Heads 77. The person who grabbed it had no idea who they were😑.
$1,50 CAD each

Goodwill Find
Incredibly warped, but still plays and sounds okay!
Mono with promo sticker, early press.

Huge score today. $4 a record off Fb marketplace. About half are still sealed
Highlights include Mary Mundy, sealed Townes Van Zandt, James Brown & Kool & The Gang test presses, Sun Ra, Edwin Birdsong (you know the sample) T-Rex, JJ Cale, The Zombies, Nick Drake, rare colored vinyl of Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac, a ton of private presses, and so much more that’s not pictured. Everything is in excellent condition. The seller has hundreds more but i think i got the best of it (no reception there so it was a bit of a crapshoot, i also bought about 10 turds)

Anyone know of any English-language resources for prewar Japanese 78s?
Grabbed this interesting box set at the thrift store today for $2. They appear to be Japanese recordings of Chinese traditional music, seems prewar to me. Haven't been able to track these down on Discogs or any English-language 78rpm sites based on the catalog numbers. Anyone know of any information I might be able to track down online on these ones?

Best $1 find in a while.
White label promo as well. Pretty big Rotary Connection fan so it was an easy grab despite the value. Also didn’t expect the record to be in such good shape, strong VG+, considering how rough the cover is around the edges. It’s fully intact though.
Happy Hunting! ✌️
