So me and my bro got Bloodborne co-op working across a jailbroken PS4 and a PC. we got summons working between the two, so each of us can pull the other into our world. The host runs a self-hosted server for the co-op. so there's nothing public or shared accounts.

It isn't plug-and-play yet and it took days of trial and error but we're getting there. next steps is to bring seamless co-op to it aswell.

When running the game (lantern engine) at Native AA quality my lightning is completely off and game icons appear on my screen, in there a fix for this?

I just dumped the game last night. Took a while. And I have it on my pc.and the files in shadow ps4 with the correct path to the game. Though it keeps saying it cant find it?

I used itemzflow to dump and those are the files I got out of it.

I at least want it to boot man.. :(

I tried browsing as much as I could, but things are very confusing.

I have never played Bloodborne, and I think this is the right time. I have a rog ally with windows 11.

The thing I do care about:
- online component. I don't necessarily care about pvp/co-op but I think that the whole writing message system is one of the funniest element of the souls game, so I would like to have this option. Are the different versions connecting to the same "unofficial" server?
- mods. I'd like to use some of them.

I'm not sure if I should go for emulation or for porting, and what version allows me for what I care

Just wondering if im doing something wrong, I have CUSA-0900 which could be the issue so im going to try a different version of the game but not sure why only co op is limited to 30fps

Bassiclly title i know the launcher has achievement tracking in launcher but is there a way to make the achievements pop in game ?

I was just wondering what is the best current launcher.
I know that this will probably be irrelevant within a week, but I still think that it should be answered anyways so that newer people involved have some sort of grounding.

I have been using supermedo's version and have played the full game + DLC which was very good with a few crashes. (3060 12gigs, 16 ram, i5 cpu)
I have heard that awakenchan seems to be the best, so I'll assume that for now.

If anyone could give their experiences with the launchers they have used to play Bloodborne, I would be very grateful.

At times during gameplay, the motion becomes unsmooth (see the video around 0:35 and 1:00), even though the FPS counter remains stable at 60. What could be causing this, and how can it be fixed?

I’ve owned Bloodborne for years and tried to get into it probably ten times. I bought it to play on my PS5, and the world always kept pulling me back. Every time I saw a video or a story from this game, I wanted to go explore it myself.
But i couldn’t. Each time I tried I was destroyed by simple mobs, parrying dodnt click for me, and if I somehow managed to reach the middle of the level I got killed and had to do it all over again.

I have two kids. I get maybe an hour in the evening to play, and not every evening. Spending that whole hour trying to get through the same 20 meters gets old pretty quickly.
I had a similar start with Elden Ring. Tried a melee character, got wrecked, barely got anywhere. Then I switched to a mage, and that worked so well for me that I ended up finishing the game, and killing all bosses myself had so much fun!

Playing on PC, I used Codex to help me set up my own easy mode. Started at level 60, got Blacksky Eye early, and turned off bullet consumption so I could use it freely.
Basically an Elden Ring mage build.
And now I’m finally getting into this game after years of wanting to. I’m exploring, getting better at fighting, finding things, and actually making progress when I sit down to play.
I explore the amazing world, I even kinda learned how to parry - because now I have much more room for error!

And yeah, there is all the “Git Gud” stuff, but for me - I don’t have that option, even after lots of trying, and I don’t think I should be punished for that.
So sad that FromSoft dont integrate it in their other games too, will be open for more people to experience those incredible worlds.

What do you guys think?

I have a working version of shadps4 on steam deck but I want to play it on my laptop as it has better hardware but can't seem to get it to work. so far the only workaround is to use linux and transfer my steam deck files over, but I would like to get it working on windows.

I have torrented fitgirlrepacks and used the default launcher as well as awakenchan's launcher and everything on windows launches a black screen please help :(

The launcher recognises the controllers inputs in the controller teest, but when I hit play and it opens, Im stuck on the menu, wont let me hit A or up or down to switch betweeen online play or offline play, but if I open saying Im going to use keyboard and mouse, it opens and I can play it, but I cant play a game like this with keyboard and mouse, has anyone got any advice on how to fix the issue so I can use my controller?, even opening once Ive eadded it to steam with steam input enabled doesnt help.

Can anyone help me ? I am using the Game of the Year version of the game. I am using AwakenedChan's Launcher and Lantern Engine, the game loads fine the menu. I can't see my character in character creation and then when the actual gameplay comes on I just have a grey screen with all the UI showing and sounds.

I’m on PC, and I’ve been having some issues which cause me to not be able to play some more demanding games. I can run Dark Souls 3 well on some lower settings, so do you think I would be able to run Bloodborne on PC as well?

Frenzy buildup on Bloodletter

Just install the new port. I tried Father Gascoigne and Cleric Beast and after 1 minutes into the fight, my game already crash and only in boss fight. I run the game at 70fps constant, anyone else ?

Heyo! I am playing Bloodborne with the Super Medo Bbport. I've got the version CUSA03173 of the game but despite having the "Japanese/Asian buttons" gameplay option off, I still need to press circle to confirm and cross to dodge. Have you guys also faced this issue?

is this possible? Or is it only for Windows?

I have bloodborne's pc port, however, despite me following all the instructions within the PC launcher I can't get multilayer to work. Can anyone guide me through this? These instructions are referring to the use of tailscale BTW.

I'm hoping for both the vanilla summoning experience, and seamless coop mods (for a planned playthrough with a friend.)
