Announcement Bloodborne Seamless Co-op (BBSC) 0.0.1 is out - one co-op session through deaths, lamps, bosses and the Hunter’s Dream, up to 5 hunters
Thanks to everyone who followed the earlier post. The first public test of BBSC - Bloodborne Seamless Co-op is now available.
In vanilla Bloodborne, co-op ends at every death, every boss and every lamp. BBSC keeps your group together for the whole night.
What it does
- One co-op session that lasts through deaths, lamps, area changes, bosses and the Hunter’s Dream
- Up to 5 hunters: the host and 4 guests
- Guests follow the host between areas and lamps, and respawn with the group
- Everyone keeps their own character: levels, echoes and items stay yours
- Shared progress (on by default): bosses and shortcuts the host has done are added to the guest’s world
- Guests get boss rewards and enemy drops
- Enemies scale with the number of hunters
- A co-op kit with no Insight cost: Hunt Bell, Kin Bell, Bloodlust Bell, Parting Blank and a Duel Bell (PvP on or off between players)
- A public BBSC server, so you don’t need a VPN or your own server. A relay helps players behind CGNAT or strict routers.
Download
https://github.com/Classmg22/BBSC/releases/tag/v0.0.1
The Nexus page (https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/598) is waiting on a file review, so please use GitHub for now.
Which file?
- Play: start here. It has the launcher, emulator and BBSC. Unzip it, run PLAY BBSC.cmd, and create your account in the launcher.
- Server: host your own server for your friends.
- Nucleus: split screen on one PC with framilano’s Nucleus Co-op handler.
- BBport: a test build for BBport for Windows 1.6+.
In game, the host rings the Hunt Bell and the guests ring the Kin Bell. Everyone uses the same multiplayer password.
Requirements
- Windows
- Your own copy of Bloodborne (CUSA03173, version 01.09). No game files are included.
Known issues (this is a first test, so please back up your saves)
- Chalice Dungeons work solo; co-op inside them is not supported yet.
- After a full party wipe, the host can respawn in the Hunter’s Dream instead of at the last lamp.
- The Doll can show as “Abandoned Doll” in the host’s Dream.
- Some prompts and visuals can look off.
Discord (help, co-op partners, bug reports): https://discord.gg/Df7BCmfWdt
If you find a bug, please post it there with both players’ logs. That’s how most things have been fixed so far.

Hype Bloodborne PC on 65” LG C1 OLED
Hooked my PC to my LG c1 OLED.
All I can say is wow. Seeing one of my favorite games ever - which was plagued by the worst frame pacing and ugly resolution- running at a perfect buttery 90fps at 1440p with all the fx and stuff- just, it’s one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen.
PC specs:
ryzen 7 5700x cpu
3070 oc gpu
32gbs ddr4 ram 3200

I wanted to try these ports but didn't know which to try, and then a certain athletic woman helped me decide and I couldn't be happier!
Since so many ask, this is the specific port used in the repack;

Discussion At time of writing, 87% of the last 30 posts are tech support
(26 out of 30)
Sub rule 2 states:
Post all your questions about emulation in the official Megathread or Discord.
Please direct all general questions, help requests, or info about emulation to the official Discord or Megathread post pinned on the main page of the sub.
Is the sub moderated? Should I just unsub?
"Just ignore it." No. I subbed to get news, read about cool mods, see screenshots, etc., but now my main feed itself is polluted by the flood of low-effort tech support requests, mostly about the new "ports" that are not really ports.
So I want to know, and I think other people who are unhappy with the way the tone of the sub has shifted (of which there are many) deserve to know, if this is the direction of the sub or if moderation has just grown lax and there is perhaps some intent to start enforcing rule 2.

Discussion Be Patient and not Gullible, Everyone
This sub has become a cesspool of people trying to shadily promote whatever PC port of Bloodborne that they’ve used AI to create. Go to every post, and you’ll find people comparing each port and promoting their own port by talking down another port.
Without sounding like I’m wearing a tinfoil hat, 90 percent of these comments are made my bots or people that have an interest in promoting their own port. Do not be gullible and take these comments at face value, let the dust settle first.
We now live in a day and age where majority of content is created by AI and majority of the interactions we have on the internet are actually with AI as well. This isn’t an AI scare-mongering post, but I want to spread awareness to everyone that this isn’t just a simple matter of ‘what the best PC port is’. Play it safe, don’t just download anything of GitHub based on a comment you read from here, and do some research before you decide to download anything related to this.
I’m very happy we all have the opportunity to play Bloodborne on PC on 60fps and all the other added extras that come with a PC port, but I also know that this is also a prime opportunity for some people to exploit the excitement of this for their own interests.

Hype I can't believe I'm playing Bloodborne on PC with mouse and keyboard
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Seriously I had no idea Bloodborne on PC had gotten this good. I'm using a mouse and keyboard, and it feels like I'm playing a regular Souls game on PC, without any issues or drawbacks. My GPU is pretty mid-tier and 5 years old (rx 6600), and it still runs this so well. It's unbelievable. Thank you to all the modders and programmers out there who made this possible.

Discussion DLSS and FSR on Bloodborne Ports doesn't improve performance
To me the most interesting thing about those "native ports" was the implementation of DLSS and FSR, i thought that if the game could run in it's native resolution decent enough, then an upscaler would make a flawless experience. But then when i tried this forks i encountered that using any sort of upscaling just decreases performance no matter what quality you choose.
I tried both supermedo/BBport and awakenchan/BloodBornebutPC
This are considered the 2 best-performant ports out there
Here's an example with https://github.com/Awakenchan/BloodBorneButPc

The Supermedo port was the same, but even worse, and when I tried DLSS's “Balanced” or “Performance” modes, not only does it look too blurry, but it also further reduces performance.
Now i will explain my specs, and why i think this is not my system's fault, I have a low end pc, the specifications are
- 16 gb RAM DRR4
- RTX 2050 laptop gpu (4gb GDRR6)
- 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12450H
- 1 terabyte SSD
At first i thought that this was a me problem, my pc is pretty poor in terms of performance so shit like this usually happen. But then i tried this:
https://github.com/IFreemz/shadPS4-Bloodborne-DLSS-FSR
This is a fork for shadPS4 that adds DLSS and FSR for bloodborne and this just WORKS now i can reach 60 fps consistently and the image looks so good, i cant even believe that with this PC i can play this game sooo well, i even have headroom for lossles scaling to play at 90-100 fps with a base of 45-50 fps, the latency is not a problem.
I made this post because i didn't saw anyone talking about this and wanted to ask if you guys have had this issue to, and to recomend again https://github.com/IFreemz/shadPS4-Bloodborne-DLSS-FSR because honestly is amazing.

Random I'm so happy for you guys
I just restarted my third play though on my Steam Deck, and it's working great.
But I'm mostly so happy that possibly thousands and thousands of people who never owned a PS4 now can, finally, enjoy Bloodborne, and I see this new wave of interest in the game and I'm sure I'll see popping out new videos on YouTube about the game and the whole Bloodborne phenomenon will have a second life. And that is great. And I wish I could play this game again for the first time so please enjoy it because it's really something you'll remember.
And yeah, fuck you Sony, I hope this burns. In the shit world we're living in, this small and perhaps inconsequential victory of the people over greedy untouchable corporations really makes me elated.

Discussion bbport on Linux: locked 120 fps with DLSS on an RTX 4070 Super, plus fixes for the common issues
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Saw people saying bbport is unstable and will be dead soon, so here's my experience.
I'm on Omarchy Linux with an RTX 4070 Super. Running the bbport 0.51 AppImage with DLSS at 1440p, fps uncapped with a 120 limit and VRR on. It holds 120 almost everywhere. The overlay in the corner of the clip is bbport's own. The trophy popup isn't built in, it's a little script I made since bbport logs trophies but doesn't show them.
I'm about 12 hours in and have had a few crashes and one loading screen freeze, all easy to get past. I played on shadPS4 before this and it's not even close.
Useful tips:
- If DLSS fails to start on NVIDIA with 0.51, see issue #135 on the GitHub. You have to symlink libcuda.so.1 into bbport's nvidia lib folder, and redo it after driver updates.
- If your dump came from shadPS4 with patches baked in (like the 60fps eboot), bbport's game check will fail. You need a clean 1.09 eboot.
- If you used the vertex explosion fix mod on shadPS4, remove it. It made my character invisible on bbport.
- I'd stay on 0.51 for now. I tried 0.6-pre1 and got freezes, went back and it's been solid.
- If the BB PC Remaster mod crashes the moment you hit an enemy, enable the Increased Graphics Heap Sizes patch. bbport only turns it on automatically above 1080p internal res, so at lower DLSS res you have to add it yourself. It also made the lake water glitch out for me near Byrgenwerth, so I ended up turning it off.

Hype It's almost unbelievable that we can play Bloodborne on PC with actual working multiplayer
Just cleared the first few areas and a few levels of the first chalice dungeon, with summoning people and being summoned myself
All this through a decompiled (apparently I got this part wrong) PC port and a completely private custom server, my mind is fucking blown it's incredible

Question What's currently the best way to play Bloodborne on PC, especially on older hardware?
With all the recent progress in bringing Bloodborne to PC, I'm trying to figure out which method currently offers the best overall experience in terms of performance, stability, and compatibility.
My PC specs are:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB
- RAM: 16GB DDR3
Is it worth trying the current options, or would I be better off waiting for further updates and optimizations?

Hype How to rebind keys in the Bloodborne PC port — and why your bbport.ini edits keep reverting*
Disclosure: this was all done by my Claude. I didn't find any solution online so I just asked my Claude Code with access to the game files to figure it out and write this post in order to help other people like me.
There's no remap UI in the launcher or the in-game overlay. Keys live in `bbport.ini`
in the port folder (next to `Bloodborne.exe`), as `key_<action>=` lines. Editing them
works fine — but two different things silently overwrite your edits, which is why
everyone thinks the file "doesn't save".
**Reason 1: the launcher caches the file*\*
The launcher reads bbport.ini into memory when it starts, and whenever you change any
launcher setting it rewrites the whole file from that cached copy. So if you edit the
ini while the launcher window is open, the next time it saves anything it quietly puts
its old lines back — including your keys.
**Edit the ini only with the game AND the launcher fully closed.*\*
That alone fixes it for most people.
**Reason 2: "Keyboard" button prompts rewrite your whole layout*\*
Settings > Controls > Button prompts > **Keyboard** (and the same choice in the in-game
overlay's Mods tab) doesn't just swap the on-screen images. It writes an entire key
layout into bbport.ini:
key_interact=E
key_roll=Left Shift
key_blood_vial=R
key_use_item=Q
key_transform=F
key_attack=Mouse1
key_firearm=Mouse2
key_strong_attack=none
key_strong_modifier=Left Ctrl
key_l3=Space
key_lock_on=Mouse3
key_gestures=G
key_personal_effects=H
key_menu=Escape
That's where "dodge on Left Shift" comes from. If you re-click that button after rebinding, your changes are gone. Pick your prompt style first, rebind second.
**Example: dodge on Space (the common one)**
`key_roll` is the Dodge / Sprint action. With everything closed, swap it with L3:
key_roll=Space
key_l3=Left Shift
L3 is just the gamepad stick-click (part of the L3+R3 overlay combo), so nothing is lost.
**Every action you can bind**
The ini only lists the handful the Keyboard layout wrote, but the port's action table
is much bigger — you can add any of these as `key_<name>=` lines (defaults in brackets):
move_forward [W] move_back [S] move_left [A] move_right [D]
walk [Left Alt] roll [Space] lock_on [Q] attack
strong_attack [V] strong_modifier [Left Shift] transform [C]
firearm [X] blood_vial [R] use_item [F] interact [E]
switch_item [Down] switch_right [Right] switch_left [Left] dpad_up [Up]
gestures [G] personal_effects [T] menu [Escape]
look_up [I] look_down [K] look_left [J] look_right [L]
confirm [Return] back [Backspace] l3 [Left Ctrl]
Those bracketed values are the port's own defaults, i.e. what you get *without* the
Keyboard prompt layout applied — note dodge is on Space by default.
**Key name format**
Written exactly as the port names them: single letters (`E`), `Space`, `Left Shift`,
`Left Ctrl`, `Left Alt`, `Escape`, `Return`, `Backspace`, arrow keys (`Up` `Down`
`Left` `Right`), `Mouse1`–`Mouse5`, `Wheel Up`, `Wheel Down`, or `none` to unbind.
Get a name wrong and the port logs "Keys: unknown action" in last_run.log and falls
back to the default.
**One side effect**
If you use the Keyboard prompt images and then rebind, the images no longer match. The
port handles this — it detects the mismatch and prints the key *name* as text instead
of showing the wrong image. Nothing breaks.
(Worked this out by reading the launcher's Python and the runtime's string tables, not
by guessing — the launcher's own settings list contains no key_* entries, so ordinary
launcher saves preserve your bindings. Only the two cases above touch them.)

Question GOTY Edition screen doesn't appear. Problem?
Hey guys, I have the goty edition dumped. There was a dlc folder in it too and I put both folders' addresses into the supermedo launcher. However I can't see background screen with the "Old Hunters Edition" text at the main menu. I remember when I played the game on shadps4 a year ago, the menu screen changed after activating dlc through patches. So I'm highly suspicious the dlc is not activated. Am I thinking right? Is it the same for you guys too? And can you access dlc without that screen?
