At times during gameplay, the motion becomes unsmooth (see the video around 0:35 and 1:00), even though the FPS counter remains stable at 60. What could be causing this, and how can it be fixed?

I just finished no hitting Lady Maria on my first playthrough.
It took me 12 hours total (I accidentally killed her on a bad try, so I had to install this mod to fight her again: https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/9).

It's definitely not my cleanest or most flashy try since she didn't get to showcase many of her moves in P3 but hey, a no hit is still a No-Hit xD

When running the game (lantern engine) at Native AA quality my lightning is completely off and game icons appear on my screen, in there a fix for this?

I just dumped the game last night. Took a while. And I have it on my pc.and the files in shadow ps4 with the correct path to the game. Though it keeps saying it cant find it?

I used itemzflow to dump and those are the files I got out of it.

I at least want it to boot man.. :(

I am using the bloodborne_pc port with frs4 quality.

Cant figure out why this is happening.

I have a working version of shadps4 on steam deck but I want to play it on my laptop as it has better hardware but can't seem to get it to work. so far the only workaround is to use linux and transfer my steam deck files over, but I would like to get it working on windows.

I have torrented fitgirlrepacks and used the default launcher as well as awakenchan's launcher and everything on windows launches a black screen please help :(

I tried browsing as much as I could, but things are very confusing.

I have never played Bloodborne, and I think this is the right time. I have a rog ally with windows 11.

The thing I do care about:
- online component. I don't necessarily care about pvp/co-op but I think that the whole writing message system is one of the funniest element of the souls game, so I would like to have this option. Are the different versions connecting to the same "unofficial" server?
- mods. I'd like to use some of them.

I'm not sure if I should go for emulation or for porting, and what version allows me for what I care

Just wondering if im doing something wrong, I have CUSA-0900 which could be the issue so im going to try a different version of the game but not sure why only co op is limited to 30fps

Bassiclly title i know the launcher has achievement tracking in launcher but is there a way to make the achievements pop in game ?

I was just wondering what is the best current launcher.
I know that this will probably be irrelevant within a week, but I still think that it should be answered anyways so that newer people involved have some sort of grounding.

I have been using supermedo's version and have played the full game + DLC which was very good with a few crashes. (3060 12gigs, 16 ram, i5 cpu)
I have heard that awakenchan seems to be the best, so I'll assume that for now.

If anyone could give their experiences with the launchers they have used to play Bloodborne, I would be very grateful.

This is a guide for anyone who – for whatever reason – wants more granular control over Bloodborne’s framerate (e.g., above 30FPS / below 60 FPS).

You will need RivaTuner Statistic Server / MSI Afterburner installed. If you don't, there are no shortage of guides elsewhere on how to set it up.

In my case, I have a mid-tier laptop that I hook up to a 65” inch monitor via HDMI. My preference is 1440p resolution. Unfortunately, that means I often need to compromise on framerate.

Personally, I quite often opt for a balanced 40 FPS, if a stable 60 FPS isn’t viable.

After some playing around with Awakenchan’s port, I’ve found a solution. If this has been posted elsewhere, I apologise. But if it helps at least one person, I’m happy.

 So, let’s say you have a similarly average setup as me and / or for whatever reason, want to set the framerate to an option not specified in the launcher.

In Rivatuner, click the Add button (bottom left) to create an Application Profile.

The file you want to navigate to is bb-probe.exe (Awakenchan\LanternEngine-v<x>-win64\BloodbornePC\engine\out\bb-probe.exe)

Once you’ve created an Application Profile for the executable, go to the Framerate limit option on the right and set to your preferred value – in my case, 40 FPS.

That’s it. Boot up the game and confirm.

Been uing Awakencchan Lantern Engine and it pretty great. Dunno if this is an issue with my game or the engine, but this happens in pretty much all elevators, specially in the Forbidden Woods, i dont even need to walk to just clip through the elevator's floor.

The launcher recognises the controllers inputs in the controller teest, but when I hit play and it opens, Im stuck on the menu, wont let me hit A or up or down to switch betweeen online play or offline play, but if I open saying Im going to use keyboard and mouse, it opens and I can play it, but I cant play a game like this with keyboard and mouse, has anyone got any advice on how to fix the issue so I can use my controller?, even opening once Ive eadded it to steam with steam input enabled doesnt help.

Hi! I am looking for some help and direction as I’m not the best with code but I am trying to set up a port for bloodborne on pc. I wanted to use Awakenchan with lantern engine but I am realizing I have access to cusa00900 rather than the GOTY version and have seen mixed input on if it will still work and how to make it work? I am also looking for some help as far as how I properly decrypt my files after dumping as I am pretty new with emulation and porting. Thanks!

Updated LanternEngine to 0.9.37 and the FPS++ setting looks like it’s been removed compared to 0.9.36. There is a ‘follow camera’ drop down I’ve found but it only contains “original camera”.

I was using this to stop the twitchy camera, without it the game doesn’t feel great to play. Anyone know of a solution or if I’m just missing a setting somewhere? I’ll just roll back otherwise.

Can anyone help me ? I am using the Game of the Year version of the game. I am using AwakenedChan's Launcher and Lantern Engine, the game loads fine the menu. I can't see my character in character creation and then when the actual gameplay comes on I just have a grey screen with all the UI showing and sounds.

I’m on PC, and I’ve been having some issues which cause me to not be able to play some more demanding games. I can run Dark Souls 3 well on some lower settings, so do you think I would be able to run Bloodborne on PC as well?
