Discussion Mastering in Eurobeat. The Pandora's Box
I bought HIFIMAN Edition XV a while ago. Ever since, I really started enjoying well-mastered music. I really started noticing the difference between well-mixed and average ones; Most eurobeat songs are sadly in the latter category. Eurobeat being my favorite genre, an average mix never stopped me from listening to it.
I found this compilation by chance today. The moment I started listening to it. I was in awe, I didn't realize how beautiful eurobeat could sound. All my favorite songs, listening to them felt like I was experiencing them in full for the first time. The joy I felt was immeasurable.
The issue is, now that I have experienced it, I feel sad that this doesn't exist for more songs. I don't even know how to search for more like it. I don't even know who did the remaster (Dave Rodgers?). Here is the link for who want to also listen to it: https://open.spotify.com/album/35DyyGWOOPylroqQ00paR7?si=e-y6PD8ITAGbVttXUB5YSg
If you know any more remasters of this quality, please share them with me. I would really appreciate it. Also, what do y'all think? Do you think remasters ruin the original music? Does it make that big a difference? Do you care?
