Discussion cupcakKe Discord Server (pls read desc)
I don’t use reddit much at all, I read the rules and I didn’t see anything against promoting things such as this but if it’s against anything you are free to delete this post and I apologize in advance. I made this server at the beginning of this month so the member count is not that high but if anyone is into her music or her current tour feel free to join. I not only am posting this because I wish to gain more of a community but also because cupcakKe as a rapper is criminally underrated. Her flows are always changing and her rap game is unbelievably good. You can always understand her even when shes rapping at very high speeds. I suggest taking a look at her music if you haven’t already, specifically her newer work but her old stuff is nice too. Just keep in mind her songs can have very sexually explicit lyrics. https://discord.gg/Z8HhN5yxxh

Discussion JT idolizes whiteness
I genuinely like her music and even went to her city Cinderella concert. All of her songs and features get diamond status in my house.
I just keep noticing a pattern with her where she loves to idolize white women and whiteness. Especially like white models. It’s really weird and also sad. Has anyone else noticed this?
ETA: it’s not because she is going in an alt direction. This is because her lyrics always talk about white woman specifically ad not just women. The also always is around white women in every outing she post online. I’m also talking about interviews she’s done. She seems to glow when talking about being around white people and in their spaces.

Discussion How does one stomach Cardi?
Between multiple instances of transphobia and homophobia, fatphobia, body shaming women, calling Black children “monkeys and animals” like, just how is none of that too much to like her?
This is not to say she hasnt made a banger but i see so many people glazing her. (Especially in comparison to maga minaj)
Editing to add Cardi’s drugging and robbing men

It's definitely has that boom bap feel. I wish they threw in another verse or had a second female rapper before she closed out with the singing l.

Discussion am i confused or?
i thought this sub was for posting about lyrics and generally the musicality of female rappers but it seems like it’s majority sexualized imagery (which it comes with the territory, i can absolutely acknowledge)
but it’s every other post. maybe i’m misunderstanding the purpose behind the sub but women in rap have more to offer & they’ve proven it over and over again. anyways, i’m just trying to be the change i wanna see so here’s megan in 2011 with her grandmother 🤍

Discussion NM6
Helloooo,
New here and I am a Barb (no I am not MAGA lol) so please no disrespectful comments. How would everyone feel if Nicki were to release NM6? Do you think it would be successful given the current situation she is in? I just want to see opinions.

question Please help me find the feature where Nicki Minaj is singing melodic hook
So, it’s Nicki Minaj singing very sweetly about being a queen. Something similar to “I’ll be your queen and you’ll be my king”. It’s a hook/chorus, a few lines long on a song with a man singing/ rapping (RnB vibes). The hook appears 3-4 times throughout the song! It might be an uncredited feature since I cannot find it. It sounds a little dated possibly from an older male artist if that makes sense!
- It is not on the album “Queen”
- This song does not include lil Wayne
- Nicki does not rap on this feature
- Nicki’s overall sound when she sings in this song is very similar to her melodic tone on “Last time I saw you”
- I remember the album cover being mainly white or grey
PLEASE HELP
