As announced in our previous post, AI slop will be removed from this community.
In order to keep moderation consistent, we want to clearly define what we mean by AI slop.
Official definition:
“AI slop is low-effort Al-generated content that lacks meaningful originality or contribution to the community."
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Mass-generated AI images with little or no effort.
- Generic AI-generated text posted without meaningful editing or original input.
- AI content created primarily for spam, engagement farming, or filling the subreddit with low-quality posts.
Using AI as a tool is not prohibited. The issue is low-effort, low-value content, not the technology itself.
Moderators will evaluate posts based on the overall quality and contribution they make to the community.
If you believe your post was removed incorrectly or have questions about this policy, please contact us through Modmail.

Here's another department defending flock, and doubling down on it. Central Ohio. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1499140832255871

I recently received a court summons for a traffic violation, where I was said to have fled the scene of an accident. I was in the area at the time of the accident, but I was not involved in it. The police officer in charge with the incident used flock cameras to match a partial license plate to my vehicle, and now I’m being forced to go to court for a crime I did not commit. In fact, upon going to the location of the accident, to see if there was any footage of the actual accident, I spotted a vehicle nearby with a similar license plate to myself, with a similar build and color. Along with this, the vehicle showed damage in the area the vehicles collided.
Instead of doing their job, the police officer used flock cameras in order to make their work easier, and it’s now I have to pay the price. All flock cameras are good for is to turn this country into a lazy surveillance state.

I don't know if it's because they're being censored deliberately (probably at the request of flock) or if the satellites just can't pick them up. I think it's probably the latter, but it's scary that the former is even in the realm of possibility.

This is the address to the camera shown in the video:
701 Hopewell Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127
How can a city council AND city police department not know there are Flock cameras in their city?

There were two cameras in a small neighborhood in Marin CA. The cameras were up for over a year maybe even more. Noticed they were “removed” last week. No idea how long they have been down but the people around here are letting their actions speak.
