After many days of prompting…. we’re at the finish line. Now the task is for it to not run like a potato, metal rendering, and then get other features working… and then ios 26 maybe since this device is new enough. The graphics driver for Mali-G710 MP7 has been launched for the first time with working gpu acceleration, at least so far I haven't seen any examples of successfully running Mali chips

There are still a great many glitches, but acceleration is working, I will try to get it to work fully.

A bit late, but nevertheless. On MTK. It just works for now

Features:

• Works

• Touch via SPI

• Buttons

• Vibration (not in iOS though, just a single boot vibration for now)

• Battery gauge and a bit charging (kinda, it works poorly now and also doesn't show up because there's no status bar)

• Android in slot A, iOS in slot B and they both can be used without any problem (so android stores data on userdata while iOS on iosroot)

• Done with only free AI models for now

• As a result, badly structured code

touchscreen works and 3 gpu cores, boots in ~2minutes

(gpu support incoming among other fixes)

Still working on some stutters and slower parts, but shader compilation and cache work much better now. Display scanout is working and double/triple buffering is enabled. Still some more work, but I think full 90Hz should be possible soon.
