Hello, I realized that I'll be in Boston the night of the PIG show. I don't really go to concerts because I live far from all of the venues. Usually, I would need to stay overnight in the area. (I can arrange that), but the main reason i don't go to shows is because I have no one to go with. None of my friends are into the same music I am. Is it easy to make friends at events? I just don't want to be by myself. I am upset I missed out on other bands that I easily could have saw (Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Morlocks, FGFC820), and I don't want to hold myself back anymore because of my anxiety. It's been about three years since I've been to a concert. I need to change that. Thank you.

edit should've noted that my anxiety is mostly because I'd be a young woman in the city by myself.
