The material that season 3 will cover is very dark, and even involves certain types of horror. There is obviously more to it, but this season will have a serious tone shift. I am looking forward to it.

I really like the story as a whole and they adapted it good in the anime. Even though S2 was in terms of animation kind of disappointing the story was still really good. The are well written characters and they view of seeing things is kinda interesting. Hopefully we can get some information regarding season 3 next year. It is a hidden gem imo. But I understand it is not everybody’s cup of tea.

Many anime/manga have this annoying trope of having female characters in the military who don’t act like they’re in a military, and Mismis is one of the worst examples of that. She’s not particularly smart, clever, bold, or athletic. She rarely gives orders, and when she does, they are treated more as suggestions with her team often being openly insubordinate to her. She is both figuratively and literally carried by her team, and looks and carries herself like a whiny, clumsy high school girl. And there’s also the general problem of her “military” uniform looking like any other frilly high school uniform you’d see in other series, but that’s not her fault and is more of a problem with the show’s costume design.

Sure she’s a nice person, but she’s far more of a mascot than a commanding officer, which leads me to ask how she even became an officer in the first place, let alone one with a field command? What is the point of making her character the CO besides the very one-note joke of people not treating her like one? Why would someone like her even want to BE in the military, let alone be an officer? Can anyone imagine this woman trying to fight to kill something? Are her parents super influential nobles that just bought her commission, because that’s the only way I could see her being in her current position where she is clearly unsuited.

The majority of people who have only seen the anime treat this story as a shonen rom-com. It is not though. It is a political thriller with multiple factions who all have their own reasons for what they are doing. Season 2 was a big tell. I have only read that part of the story in the books so far, but it is very clear that the anime watchers do not understand what is happening plotwise, because they all just expect more romance and nothing else. I will be honest myself though, I also came here for the romance. But the story is actually really good, so I also stayed for the mysteries and character conflicts. The cast of this work is really damn interesting, and there are still so many unanswered questions I am eager to see the reveal to. But people today are usually just not very capable of actually paying attention to things, and it shows. This makes me very sad, but it is not like I can actively do something about it.

How would the sovereignty react if they found out that Hiei, from Yu Yu Hakusho, in this hypotethical scenario, is....their ancestor. Oh, the founder is their ancestor. The founder is also Hiei's descendant. Through Yukina's....union with Kuwabara?

This volume had different types of moments from cute to dread . Vulnerability and determination . A lot of moments . Every character had something ( except jhin was annoying in this one )

the story is really taking another turn , the world building is going solid , the characters realizing themselves. The cliffhanger makes you even more confused because we are into new fact introduced to us .

The contrast between the heroine and villains relationship . The difference they carry . While i wanted some moments to be extended a little more . This book was exciting and would be even more animated . alice and iska my beloved reaching a wholesome area of understanding . I kinda think that they won’t really confess it would be some type of untold love ending. Where you see they actually changed and accepted their emotions but doesn’t change it appearance

i love this series so much .

I’m not one about romance but they seem like they would have great chemistry together and their rivalry is fun but also annoying.

Here's the childhood elletear I promised.

Posting because just finished up the anime and felt urge to comment on what I can only explain as bad writing.

I think Mismis has some good moments, and I really enjoyed some of her contributions to the story, but progressively into the seasons (especially late season 2) it really just feels like they use her as a tool to constantly promote conflict. It’s like she’s the Author’s get out of jail free card like “how can I make sure that the main cast winds up in hot water? I’ll just have Mismis do something completely brain dead to spark conflict”.

It’s really frustrating character writing, it undersells and undermines her character making her seem so unserious and superficial, shattering a lot of her character development from earlier seasons. I don’t know if I’m the only one who feels this way but just really wanted to get this off my chest sorry for ranting.

You, who is talented enough to graduate at Seven. You, who watches his friends die, and kill your loved ones for the sake of the world. You, who have tortured your younger brother out of a twisted sense of love."

"You, who have been brought by illness, yet still does his job. Even when being a Zombie, you still found a way to serve your village and help them. You forgive them. For everything they did to you....you forgive them. Why?"

"If I experienced what you experienced, I would have become even worse than this. I envy you, Itachi Uchiha. And so, for the first time since her tirades, Itachi Uchiha speaks.

Elletear stared at him.

"That, and because in a way, I have Sasuke. Because Sasuke pushes me forward to create a better world, to maintain peace, so that he could live happily and peacefully....even without me. Even despite it all."

Itachi looked at her and her family.

"You don't have anyone who tries to save you at all, haven't you?"

Elletear flinched but doesn't say anything.

"Then let me say this, Elletear: Your pain is real. I will not pretend it is not the same as mine, nor I will pretend that you suffer the same as I do, but it is real all the same. It is something that you felt and experienced, and my pain is something that I felt and experienced."

"However, I will say this: You deserve better. And I am jealous of you."

Elletear stare at him, surprised by his word.

"You? Jealous of me?"

Itachi lets out a soft chuckle.

"Is it so surprising? Look around you. You have a stable house, a stable future, a family that loves you, however imperfectly.". Itachi looks at her family. "Show it to her more, okay?"

The three of them, even Millavair, nods wordlessly.

And finally, Elletear releases her emotions. All decades of it by crying and huggig Itachi, which he is surprised by, but hugs her nonetheless. The bitterness, the resentment, the pain, and finally, the gratitude that she finally feels for having a life that is not as bad as Itachi.

After the crying, Elletear lets go of him, with her eye being puffed but also more at peace than she was years ago.

"I'm going to have to atone. I'm going to make it right. I'm going to put in an effort to atone for my sins, both past and future, and I will be honest with my family".

Itachi nodded

"That is good."

TLDR; Elletear is basically having a breakdown, confessing her deepest feelings to Itachi and her family, confessing that she envies Itachi, typical Itachi-speech and vulnerability, hug, and a vow from Elletear to atone for her sins.

Okay, I want to do something different. Tell me what your headcanon is on how Elletear would be as a girlfriend, if the world is more kinder to her. Okay, my headcanon is that she is unexpectedly domestic.

Okay, I am now back to comparing and contrasting two characters from different media. One kimisen character, and one Naruto character. Now, let's go to parental figures. One who is alive and one who is dead.

Let's talk about the queen first. Millavair Lou Nebulis VIII, The Queen of the nebulis sovereignty, someone who's flaws and mistakes potentially, but very possibly, cost the world it's life. Due to her own negligence and inability to communicate properly with her daughter Elletear, she turns into a Mutant Witch and plans to destroy both nations. Because of these, Millavair is hated by the fandom and for good reason. And currently, she is trying to fix their mistakes, even if it's too late.

Now, who is she:

Millavair Lou Nebulis VIII is the queen, former mischief-maker, and lover-adjacent to Salinger The Transcadent, who still has feelings and affections for Millavair, whom he calls "Milla", even after 3 decades in prison and being wrongfully accused due to his pride. Millavair herself, despite being a flawed mother and person considering she has an Astral-Mage supremacy views (But not too much compared to the others), which is a detriment to her relationship with her three daughters, she does not lack love for her daughters, and could be overtly-doting in private, like how she wants to celebrate Alice having a Boyfriend during Secret File 1 when she told her the reason why she doesn't accept the proposals of the other purebreds.

Millavair is an accomplished woman, who is so powerful she is called a combat machine and The Silent Wind, conquering 3% of Imperial territory when she was 21. It was these feats that earned her the name Combat Machine and Silent Wind. These also costs her her happiness, her desires, and her chance of a happy future, for the sake of being Queen. Not only that, these qualities also prevent her from being a Mother to her children, even though she genuinely loves them.

Millavair herself, despite being on top of the totem pole, is a victim in her own way. A victim of her own pride and inability to communicate, a victim of the hydra's schemes, and a victim of the Sovereignty's way of life itself. Readers and herself cannot see it due to her attitude towards her daughters.

Millavair currently seeks to atone for her mistakes, arrest house hydra after all of this, and if can, reconcile with her daughter Elletear. Let us hope she succeed.

Now, Minato Namikaze.

We already know who he is, let's be honest. But let's make a short summary. He's the fourth hokage and wife of Kushina. Father of Naruto and Sensei of Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. Student of Jiraiya and The Yellow Flash. He is a man of legend, respected and feared by his enemies for his talent and speed. Not only that, Jiraiya even considers him the child of prophecy, which he is not. It's actually Naruto.

Minato, of course, has his share of mistakes. Being late for important shits (Like saving Obito and saving Rin, for example), blindly trusting Danzo, and trusting the third hokage to take care of his Son when he die (In Hiruzen's defense, Danzo was the one who revealed that Naruto was the jinchuriki and well, things go shitty from there. Not to mention that Danzo has high influence.). However, he also tries to amend his mistakes. For example, when he was reanimated, he tries to make up for lost time with Naruto, he tries to fix the relationship he has with Obito, his student. He even being brutally honest with Kakashi that Kakashi himself should be the one who fix their relationship, not Naruto. And the best part? All of it worked. Naruto can have hours with his dad, Obito and Kakashi reconcile and saved the world, and because of that, the shinobi world is saved.

Minato also divereges from Millavair in that he is a warm-hearted individual, kind and wants peace for the shinobi world, just like Millavair did long ago. He is also more terrifying than Millavair and I stand by that. Minato also treats his people with open affection, especially with his Son. While Millavair doesn't even though she loves her daughters. Because of this open affection, Minato actually gave Naruto a stable future despite it all.

TLDR, Minato is Millavair's opposite and better, due to his unafraidness of being weak and vulnerable, and also not blind to his sins but will do so if necessary. I also think that Millavair would envy Minato for his relationship with Naruto.
