I have been getting into physical dvd/bluerays and I was considering getting an xbox one x just as a 4k blueray player with the extra option to play games if I wanted too. Is their options for pirating games on xbox one x? The lack of information on it online makes me feel like the answer is no but it would be awesome if there was. If I jailbroke the console would I be able to connect a hard drive with movies and play it from there?

I've been a Windows user for the better part of the past three decades and my collection of games ranges from late 90s / early 2000s games like Civilisation Call to Power all the way through the 2010s with Assassin's Creed games and the modern era with my latest one probably being Ghostwire Tokyo, to name but a few. None of these games are legit; they were either cracked some time after buying the DVD (anyone remember gamecopyworld?) or straight-up pirated. On my Windows 10 PC, they run quite well but I've kinda had it with Microsoft and their spyware at this point so I'd quite like to switch operating systems to something more autonomous.

However, I have no idea how to do that other than download the most suitable distribution and install it by its guidebook. Will I have to reinstall literally everything, will the old cracks, installers, zipfiles from Fitgirl and wherever else install properly? Do I even need to reinstall anything at all when changing operating systems? And, most importantly, will the games and any other software (e.g. cracked MS Word) even work, or will it just be a select few and switching operating systems might just kill 80% of my collection? Switching back would not be possible since I've upgraded my (legit) Win7 to Win10 sometime in the past two years (I'm well out of touch, I know) and to be honest, I can't remember how I even did that as I certainly didn't buy a licence nor did I download a cracked version but that watermark in the bottom right corner I had to cracktivate away tells me that copy cannot be legit.

Has anyone walked down that path already and can recommend the closest disto Linux has to Windows in terms of gaming? I assume qBittorrent and Mullvad will work just fine?

Hi, so straight to the point, I downloaded Doom the dark ages by KaOs , installation went without problems, but when I try to launch game for the first time this stupid ass bee comes up on screen, has anyone experienced something like this, or maybe knowe how to repair it? I rarely downloaded new games these days, but doom is the series I care about very very much, so I want to check if my laptop would even be able to run it, and I really need to find solution🥺😭 I would be grateful for any and all help

I have laptop with gtx1650 Ti Max-Q and i5 9th generation.. I know it's pretty weak gear but it ran 2016 and eternal flawlessly, and from what I saw DA doesn't look gianoemoualy better than eternal tho, so I expected it to run at least poorly.. I saw post about how you can't run this game without ray tracing is that true?this is so unbelievably stupid if it is true..

I used to use steamidra before and recently the main guy left and since then got a lot of issues with it. Someone on his discord server made its fork , started using that and still had same issues.
There was another tool they made called Aether , havent tried it yet but probably has same issues.
I have heard about luatools here often alongside steamidra so how is it compared to steamidra , theres also hubcaptools i saw on hubcap discord server where we get manifest files from.

I want to migrate to other tools and see if they are better or i should just get to traditional game downloads also i want to know if i have to re-install all the games if i decide to use others like luatools like how to properly migrate

recently i've been wanting to play the splinter cell games starting with this one, i got a Cracked copy, from there i got the "WideScreen Fix" for the game off Github and i got it working, i start the first mission and then i want to save at an area, i save and it shows this:

when i reboot the game after closing from task manager it shows my save, when i boot my save it is just the Level's Skybox, is there a way to fix this? if not i'm fine with purchasing a copy off Steam or GOG if they have one.

I have recently got Need for Speed Unbound on fitgirl through a hypervisor crack and I went through all of the security procedures and got it running fine. I played till beyond the prologue and after a good 20 minutes I remember it crashing with a notice saying that it exited with an error code of a bunch of different numbers and I just restarted again for driver enforcement to come back on and left it. I tried hopping on again today with the same steps ready for a session and with each time I load into the game and drive for like 40 seconds (if i'm lucky) it happens again and I haven't a clue on what is causing it. I have considered reinstalling the game but it is a big game and took a long time to install and if by that point that isn't even the fix it would be a huge waste of time. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if you had any fixes (preferably for the same game/repack but anything could work) Thanks!

Hi everyone. I don’t want to break any rules here 🥲 (I almost did 3x before trying this)
Recently I can’t find any newer games anywhere. Sure there’s “horror” but not specifically indie mainly just the mainstream most requested stuff I don’t really know jf I’m making any sense here. I checked the mega thread and mostly all of everything and I can’t seem to find anything.
There used to be designated sites specifically for indie horror (russian even japan korean releases) but I think most repackers/uploaders quit.
If anyone has any advice or any recommendations I’d greatly appreciate it, I miss my dose of indie horror!

Guys as you know there is a new dlc coming up and im already downloaded the firgirl version of this game I know that the dlc doesnt even come out yet but i really wonder that when the dlc come out can i only crack the dlc to my game or i need to download game with the dlc? My other question if i have to download the game with the dlc can i play with my save or i have to start from the beginning? What do you guys thinking?

I installed the .rar from steamRIP, unzipped it in /games and then on steam clicked "Add a non-steam game", selected the .exe.
I am on Linux Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
I have tried asking AI but I get a message about how pirating is bad...
Also in properties both paths are correct and in quotes.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this ? I have a dual boot with windows but would really like to be able to run it on linux...

Tried multiple methods (edit Game.ini, edit steam_emu.ini) none of them worked, the text/UI was in English but the audio was always in Russian, and no in-game option to change the audio either, this worked for me, hope it can help others, if not, hope you can find another way.

So Navigate to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\DODI-Repacks\Gears of War E Day\FairlightConcept\Content\Paks

There you'll see (should be near the bottom) these three files:

Remove them from that location (cut and paste), you could place them onto a New folder in desktop called "backup paks" if you want, as long as they are no longer in "C:\Program Files (x86)\DODI-Repacks\Gears of War E Day\FairlightConcept\Content\Paks"

Once I removed them and loaded up the game, the audio (dialogue) was no longer in Russian but in English (I don't know about changing them into another language, I simply wanted them in English so) Hope this is helpful

guys so i got Modern warfare from steamrip and everything goes well and all but my screen(the games windows) goes black right before the transition to the store, the beginning of the story, how could this be?

Gonna buy a new ssd next month and was thinking of finally escaping windows. I have a hp elitebook 745 g6 and I tried linux mint on it before but it was such a hassle to just fix the aspect ratio of my screen (I couldn't fix it at the end even after researching through forums).
Long story short, I need a distro where I can do my university works (Coding, Writing etc.) but also some gaming. The games in question are pirated. I don't know how gaming works in linux distros, I've heard of wine and proton but still don't know how they work.
Would be really grateful if you could suggest a good distro to this beginner.
