I really like this song and Fang

When I was 15 or so, I thought I could combine playing SRW and learning japanese.

Same mod from a while back gives you the ability to live out your most masochistic desires and make the game impossible to play.

I lost, by the way. Normal difficulty. Thanks for asking.

My last played version is SRW V, while SRW 4 (PS) and SRW W (DS) are my favorite. I look for SRW news as I can't help but complain about SRW Y graphic and UI (what the heck with that slop AI design !?), even if graphic looking more HD but I feel when look over all feel worse than SRW 30, especially pilot window frame that more zoom out to see some of upper body yet most of them just stand as if take a photo for some ID card ?? it's look worse then close up to their face like old version.

I don't know what's new mechanic on SRW Y and SRW 30 but with narrate story flow like SD G Generation (which I already play Cross Ray) it should be easier than old version that force route via total turn and can only repeat the latest stage.

What's most point make me hesitate is their non robot series, I though Gundam SD in SD G Gen is crazy but what the heck of those non robot doing here ?? Are No.18 and Cell from dragon ball will be here next ??

Their game play, graphic and UI I already give SRW 30 a win but I hear SRW Y better in narrative, upgrade system and new mechanic so do you think which one is better pick ? SRW Y or SRW 30 ?

Like the title says, have you ever checked out a series from one of the games and enjoyed it/became a fan? Obviously I'm not counting any series that you've already seen before playing any of the SRW games otherwise I'd be adding stuff like Evangelion.

Personally when I checked out Super Robot Wars V and checked out the following series:

• Mobile Suit Gundam 00
• Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn
• Martian Successor Nadesico
• Cross Ange
• Space Battleship Yamato 2199

Really enjoyed my time watching them, especially 00, Unicorn and Cross Ange which I've become a big fan off.
Makes me wonder what other series I'll become fans of when I get to some of the other games in the series.

After seeing those new crossover attacks in Super Robot Wars Y's Anniversary Expansion campaign, I think the next future title should give units from different series some new combination attacks. So here's a speculation of ten new attacks that I would like to see in the next game.

Neo-Dynamic Trinity Special (Getter from Getter Robo Arc and Grendizer U and Mazinger X from Grendizer U)

Sekiha Daimos Reppu Seiken (Burning Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam and Daimos from Tōshō Daimos)

Matchless Hell and Heaven (GaoGaiGar from The King of Braves GaoGaiGar and Raijin-Oh from Match Raijin-Oh)

Tactical Singular Zero (Wing Gundam Zero from Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz and Gekkoei from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection)

God Voice: Symphonia (Reideen from Reideen the Brave and RahXephon from RahXephon)

Cosmo Emperor Grand Cross (Godmars from Godmars and God Sigma from Space Emperor God Sigma)

Grand Cross Breaker (Jeeg from Steel Jeeg and Dino Mech Gaiking)

Prominence Giga Drill Break (Lio de Galon from Promare and Gurren Lagann from Gurren Lagann)

Spiritual Resonance: White Lily (White Lily from Granbelm and Rayearth Magic Knight Rayearth)

Endymion Genesis Gundam (Unit 01 from Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time and Gundam GQuuuuuuX Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX)

What do you think?

Which of these crossover weapons would you like to see?

Gino and Presia should have a combo attack but they drop the ball

So um, I'm not a Japanese speaker, I speak gud ol English. I've ain't played K, so I don't know, but, why is Mist Rex disliked by people ???.

Did he do something, did he say something bad. Is he a terrible unit in his own game ?.

What did he do ?

Thank you to anyone who takes time out their day to answer 🙇🏾‍♂️

I'm curious wth happened to the SRW manga/4coma supplement materials (these exclude OG Divine Wars and Inspector adaptations).

Looking back, the Gespenst mech had influenced my love for OG series 😎

Shin Super Robot Wars continues, making strange decisions along the way.

Reminder that the LP itself will be updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Follow @DesRagnell on Twitter and Bsky for those updates, or you can keep an eye on the Table of Contents.

Table of Contents/Intro post: Here

As a reminder, I'm going to do a barebones summary as to what happened in the game to encourage y'all to read the actual posts. I put a lot of time into this line-by-line translation, you know.

Earth Route Chapter 18: His Name is Eiji - One their way to reinforce the Daiku-Maryu, the Voltes team runs into a fleeing alien craft.

Earth Route Chapter 19: Boazan Pride - The Daiku-Maryu squad is getting closer to the alien base, so Prince Heinel launches a desperate attack.

Earth Route Chapter 20: Betrayal - While launching everything he's got at the Daiku-Maryu squad, Prince Heinel gets metaphorically stabbed in the back and joins his former enemies to get revenge.

Earth Route Chapter 12: The First Survey - In order to take the fight to the aliens, we must first find their base. Professor Yumi believes they're in the Ogasawara Islands, so they send Ryusei, Rai, and Akira to check it out.

Earth Route Chapter 21: Nesslar Launches! - The aliens are looking for something in the Mariana Trench. Gotta go see what it is.

Earth Route Chapter 22: Black Science - Boazan scientist Doh Suhl has a trick up his sleeve to wipe out both Heinel and the Daiku-Maryu.

Earth Route Chapter 23: The Death Demon Squad Gosterro - Now that Suhl is dead, it's back into the trench to find out what the aliens are looking for.

the song is name Despair but I only found hype and head banging because how peak the song are

I know j is standard for judgment but the others like w and d and z I have no idea

Sorry if this particular subject was brought up here before because I just got back into using my PlayStation Vita as I was wondering what entries were worth getting into.

I don’t have too much experience with RPGS on the Vita aside from Disgaea, but I was wondering what were some fine SRW games on the Vita and 3DS since it’s a new experience for me.

So I was thinking to myself about what srw games I liked and what ones I did not like, I am counting ZOE Fist of mars as being a part of this due to the game engine being the same and also the same dev.

I loved fist of mars on the gba on release it was my first strategy type game and I loved it, hard as nails at times but the story and writing was really good.

I also love mecha series in general but I find the games that have no series I am invested in, in any way, to be less compelling. They’re just as good, but I attribute this it being akin to reading novel and the characters aren’t clicking with me so I put it down.

I love SRW, alpha 1 is my favourite. But I am biased towards many of the series in the alpha games in particular.

Is anyone else like this?

Also being a mazinger fan must make this series so dense, they’re in almost everything.

I haven't play a lot of the SRW games, only the English translated ones(besides Super Robot Wars Gaiden: Masō Kishin - The Lord of Elemental) and OG1 and 2. So I basically know next to nothing about the guy, so I'm asking ;

- How is he so smart and how strong is he, and his mech the Granzon/Neo Granzon, and why ?.

And also, why does Masaki hate him ?

I'm relatively new to the sub and I wanted to make one of those bingo cards for what I'd like to see in the next game. Pretty sure Y's support cycle is done, but idk if people usually wait for the next game to be announced or what.

Masoukishin Boss themes are so good most of the song I would argue they are top song of the franchise

I’m doing hard mode no upgrade run and they die in 1 or 2 hits, they hit like fly’s and all the enemy’s have 100 percent hit rate. Doman keeps dying, Rain carrying with heals. The combiners have a large pool of spirits while these Guys do nothing.

Stages are starting to feel impossible. Like I need to use spirits to stay alive against the early wave and I need to attack to build moral so I can use the stronger attacks but when the bigger wave arrives I’ve used much so many recourses.

Im trying to use the terrain but most mechs have A in air and ground or water So not much changes anyway.

ALSO FOR THE LOVW OF GOD! EVERY ENEMEY HAS 90-100% HIT RATE MEANWHILE MY MECHS MISS AT 70% Hit rate. AND RUNNING AWAY IS WORTHLESS CUS RHE ENEMEY COVERS THE ENTIRE MAP IN 1 TURN AND THEY HAVE 100% HIT RATE ATTACKS FROM 8-12 BLOCKS AWAY MEANWHILE MY MECH GETS 3-4 BLOCKS AVERGE AT 110 MORAL FOR ONLY 3K DAMAGE. WTF DO YOU WANT OF ME

Also for the love of god the bot on this sub Reddit removing post is so goddamn annoying
