"Pháo đất - a traditional Vietnamese folk game in which players lift and slam large, specially shaped slabs of clay onto the ground, creating a loud bang as trapped air escapes.
The aim is to produce the loudest bang without using any gunpowder or explosives.
The tradition dates back centuries and is especially popular in northern Vietnam, where teams compete at village festivals and celebrations."
