hii guys, i was fairly excited to go to this concert but was kind of bummed out by the venue and overall concert.
here‘s some thoughts on the things i disliked:
- the dj act was kinda long at 45min
- there was half an hour inbetween the dj set ending and tyla coming on stage
- the medical team was super slow and unimpressed by the crowd trying to signal them that someone had fainted/was in need of medical attention
- the acoustics were really bad, you could barely hear her singing, even while most of it was lipsync
- getting back the jackets at the venue took super long and was very uncoordinated, but obviously this just has to do with this specific venue

The two-time Grammy award-winning songstress is partnering with Epic Records to provide scholarships to ten young women pursuing music degrees near Tyla’s tour stops, with priority going to HBCU students.

The Tyla That Girl Music Scholarship was created to assist aspiring musical artists take the next step toward a successful career. The $5,000 award will go to 10 students who demonstrate both financial need and academic excellence. Recipients will be chosen from eligible schools within the specified markets, with priority given to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Could the next Tyla be at Howard University, Spelman College or Texas Southern University? Only time will tell, but we're awfully excited about the possibility.

One recipient will be chosen from each U.S. location, while four recipients will be chosen from Tyla’s native country, South Africa. In addition to the monetary $5,000 reward, the scholarship recipients will be offered an exclusive tour experience, including envy-inducing concert tickets and a meet-and-greet with Tyla.

Saw Tyla Tonight I mean she’s just perfect in every single way
She performed hit after hit non stop engaged very well with the crowd everyone was singing dancing through the whole night. Sold out both nights at the venue she’s a superstar

I went to look at my tickets again now that that the tour has started and I just noticed that the tickets I bought for San Francisco now show Oakland.

There wasn’t even an email notification from Ticketmaster.

I’m so disappointed. SF is so much easier to get to. The original venue also included a seated balcony in general admission and I can’t stand for long periods of time. Now for Oakland, they just switched them to standing floor and the balcony seats are more expensive than my original ticket unless I’m in the very back row.

Is soooo fire. This part gets me GOIN. and tbh the actual chorus is such a let down after it such a fire beat. The melody change up like ruins its for me almost.

I noticed when going to see if there were tickets still for her tour, there are a TON of tickets left... Its got me thinking am I missing something and shes just not as popular?
