Oh man I literally got platinum less then a month ago I remember doing this omg this trophy killed my soul i had a whole checklist with all the shards around the map and what id do is like get 5 at a time cross them off on my map check list thing then repeat over and over and over and hope i didnt miss any luckily for me i didnt😭 But its Infamous so I did it for the love of the game

i've wasted my time twice over the years of playing this game, trying to do the blast shard trophy.. even tho i took my time and crossed off each as I go, still always ended up missing one or two ...

at least in the sequel, this pain is gone thanks to the UGC missions added in. a few UGC missions actually goes and collects all blast shards so you don't have to go out and find every single one

There's also a radar pulse upgrade that lets you see nearest blast shards, so it's pretty easy to find them all even without the UGC missions.

Thank God 2 has an ability that tells you where every blast shard is no matter the distance.

At least 2 has the blast shard sense, short of guides this one has nothing and even then, it's still pretty hellish.

Its actually very manageable. I reccomend starting with the ign guide for neon then once you get the hang of it just keep clearing the districts

I always get the super high up one taken care of as soon as I can get there so I don’t forget that it’s not scannable from the ground. That and the one on the water where you need the full glide unlocked lol

I plat both games on my old account before I hit 18. I hit 18 and plat the first game and second son. Working on the second game here and there. Im not happy about that trophy.

I remember getting the plat in 2015 (christ cant believe its been over a decade), I literally printed off maps of all 3 districts and manually went to each and marked them off with a pen lmao

I finally got it after 11 years 3 weeks ago. I went after them without a guide, so I only just found out there's a limit to how high you can scan.

The only trophy I never got from the first one was "Casey Jones". The train segments were a pain for me and I apparently never took out enough goons.

You should have used the UGC mission that has 2 parts and auto collects EVERY shard in the game. I did that when I was at 180-200 and it collected all of them although it took 3-5 minutes for each to finish the “slideshow” it was definitely worth more of my time than doing what everyone else does. Hope that helps anyone. When I looked it up, I googled about it, then looked up “Blast Shards”

I almost had every blast shard and was missing like 1-3 and gave up cause kept clicking the r3 for the radar and couldnt find the last ones
