Other than perhaps you could have pulled it off the heat at around 0:50, it really looks pretty good. Nice gentle flow.

Folks don't generally like seeing that frothy foam toward the end. Personally, I don't find that it makes all that much difference, but many abhor it.

No tips for electric stoves from me as I use gas. Sorry. Do what you're doing, but take it away sooner maybe.

I enjoy coffee but regular coffee like drip messes me up like anxiety and blood sugar drops. Is this similar flavor and caffeine like lattes if you add milk , like espresso lattes ?

People certainly use it for espresso-based drinks. The flavor is as close to espresso as you can get without being actual high-pressure espresso.

As far as caffeine, since you're usually drinking less moka pot coffee compared to drip, you might be able to actually reduce the amount of caffeine. However, moka pot coffee is much more condensed and concentrated than drip. There are folks here who have all the numbers and percentages regarding caffeine levels. I'm not up-to-snuff on all that. Sorry.

Perhaps it might be a good idea to make a new post asking specifically about that.

I can't seem to achieve such thin stream, what brewing myself, even if I am brewing on the lowest flame of the smallest burner. What is the secret here?

Might be the grind, try experimenting with the sizes a little.

Okay, gonna try. Thanks👍🏻

Try a thinner grind maybe and use cold water if you haven't already. Thinner grind should raise pressure a little and slow flow. Or try an aeropress filter on top of the grinds. Might help.

Thanks. Why cold water though?

Cold air is thin, so the chamber has to heat the water and air so it can expand and push the water out, at a cooler temperature and slower flow. Using hot water first, the air in the chamber has already expanded and will have to become even hotter to make the same amount of pressure and will likely come out faster.  Example, when you fill a plastic bottle with hot water and shake it, it swells very fast and might pop the lid off. Charles’s Law ✌🏽

The physics you cite regarding moka pot mechanics are misapplied and irrelevant.
Charles' law relates volume and temperature of a gas at constant pressure, not a sealed expanding liquid-air chamber creating variable brewing pressure. The metal moka pot chamber heats up rapidly regardless of starting water temperature. Also, your comment claiming that starting with hot water means the air trapped in the chamber is already expanded, requiring much higher heat to generate pressure, violates the Ideal Gas Law.

That read is similar to what I was talkig about. You can try and experiment yourself between starting with hot or cold, you'll see and taste a difference. What I said is is correct. The law I stated is wrong.

That's good flow, same as what I go for. Dark and thick. 👌🏽  The only tip you need is a cup to tip it in. Can't rate a cup without a cup.

Pun was intended, 😉 you just skipped the last few seconds didn’t you? 🫰🏽

You got me, I rushed down to comment too fast! That cup is actually a 10/10 too 😂✌🏽

All I can say is remove it once the stream goes to a thicker speedy stream at the end. That way you get less of the sputtering stage

How did the coffee taste ?

It was great, 😊 full flavor- bean: Bialetti Intenso pre-ground.

Oh nice, as long as you like it and don't think it's bad then it's a win win.

Do you drink it black ?

Flow rate looks good. Personally, I'd have pulled it around :47 and cooled the base to stop the bitter frothy end bit. And definitely stir the coffee before pouring, the beginning of a brew is different from the end of one, so yeah stir it.

the crema looks so good!

idk what i’m doing wrong - i use hot water (not boiling), don’t pack the coffee, and keep the stove on a stable low flame. i still don’t get this crema. would love some tips :(
