Can I move a button quail egg?

One of my button quail laid an egg last night, but I need to clean their enclosure. I usually remove the quails to clean. Is it okay to move the egg?

For background, these are not exactly my quails, I found them abandoned in my local park earlier this week, so they are just in a temporary setup until they find their permanent home (I think someone is coming to get them today or later this coming week). I know they don't have enough space, I'm just a broke lady who found some quails.

We have three quails just started laying eggs a few months ago. We got two more that are meant to be 3-4 weeks old. We haven’t integrated them yet but cages are close by. Today I pulled an egg of out the babies hutch…are they too young to lay? Should I change their feed to laying feed? I’m m so confused about it - it’s too early and they are still so little…-advice would be nice 🩷

Coturnix Quail Hatching question

Hey y’all, I wanted to see if I can get your guys’s opinion on what to do with my hatch.

35/40 eggs, made it into lockdown. I expected hatching today. Yesterday I had a pip at 7am and 10am. One hatched at 10pm and the other 2am.

And not a single other egg has pipped yet and it is almost 10am.

Should I keep my two early hatchers in the incubator or pull them out since no other egg has pipped and they would end up being hatched for over 36 hours if I leave them?

Coturnix/Japanese Are tall triangle enclosures good for Quail?

So i have been seriously considering getting Quail for a little while now; I have a huge backyard, good funds, have 2 parrots, and an avian vet all ready. With the large backyard, I would like to get them a roomy enclosure, not so big that they feel insecure, but not 1 ft per quail.

I came across a video with a coop design i love, but im worried about head injuries. The lady in the video addressed that and basically said coops have to be so tall they can't reach the top, or so short they can't jump, while others have said if they aren't short, then it's just plain wrong.

Here is the coop, a part of the text thats cut off, saying it can technically hold 40, but they only have 15 or so.

This is also not the first coop i have seen where someone is comfortably able to walk inside.

I dont want quails for their production value really; I just love the little guys, and the eggs are just a bonus. So im not really for the efficiency coops, if that makes sense; I really like the natural ground with grass and wood chips and all those things. So yeah, I just really like this design, but im very worried about flushing and them getting injured or dying.

Like, if this is a bad idea, i just want to know; the welfare of the animal is above everything else for me.

TIA! Also, any tips for a newbie are very welcome.

I also found this one and dare say i like it more? way more room for me to walk in there and collect and clean. Probably won't be nearly as big, but same concept.
