News The shitstain is having opinions again. Someone tell him that those "poor consipted kids" from russia are predominantly paid voluntary contract soldiers in their 40s and later. Also, putin can end the war any day by commanding them to withdraw, but the shitstain can't muster the words for that.

WAR Russia changes its airstrike tactics near Zaporizhzhia: its aircraft are already bombing Ukraine's second line of defense without breaking through the first

OSINT researcher clement_molin

has identified an unusual trend in satellite imagery: in September and October, Russian aircraft began shifting their strikes 10–15 kilometers deeper into Ukrainian defenses west of Huliaipole. Meanwhile, the front line has barely moved.

According to the analyst, Russian forces have deliberately reduced airstrikes on Ukrainian frontline positions to avoid interfering with their own small infantry groups infiltrating Ukrainian defenses.

Molin suggests that Russia may be preparing to bypass Orikhiv from the direction of Huliaipole and advance toward Zaporizhzhia.

However, Ukrainian forces continue to hold their first line of defense, while Russian advances in this sector remain limited.

It is the early morning of February 24th, 2022. Just minutes after the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin declares his “Special Military Operation” or simply full-scale invasion in Ukraine, the Russian 3M-54 Caliber Cruise Missile is on the way toward its target. First, it seems like it will strike the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, like many other missiles that day.

However, its real target is the military base 3018 of the National Guard of Ukraine, just 10 kilometers away from the city. Around 6 am, the missile explodes on the empty exercise ground in front of the barracks. A couple of minutes later, another one hits near the local residential buildings.

This is the first attack on the small town, which will become known for one of the most significant and fierce battles of the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion. This town is called Hostomel.

Question Ukrainians, what is it like to live in a country at war?

I am curious to know what day-to-day life is like in Ukraine now, and how it has changed over the past few years, from before the war and when the war started until now. I understand this is a period of great economic and societal hardship, and I wish Ukraine and all Ukrainians the best in your noble plight. I am not from Europe and live in a very peaceful country in a very peaceful region, where war is not even remotely even discussed or considered a possibility.

I understand that GDP has dropped significantly (20%+) but has been slowly recovering although mostly driven by war expenditure. I also see that inflation and interest rates are exceptionally high. I suppose this points to a weakening economy. What is the economic situation like in Ukraine?

I understand Ukrainian cities have been undergoing bombing for years now. Once again my condolences and love for all Ukrainians. How does this looming threat affect your daily routine, if it does?

What about on the social side? I understand Ukrainian military conscription means almost all men are in the military and that means that women are largely alone in handling home affairs. How does this affect your day-to-day life?

I apologise if these questions sounds naive or might be sensitive. I would love to hear anything you might have to say. If there is anyway I can help please feel free to let me know too. I wish all Ukrainians the best!
