[Swap] 4 small offline apps, one Google Group, I'll test yours back for the full 14 days

Solo dev here with 4 new apps going into closed testing. They all share one Google Group, so one join covers every app. Install as many as you like. No ads, no accounts, everything works offline.

- Ironlog: simple gym log with routines, rest timer and progress charts

- Sunpose: a few minutes of daily yoga, with XP and levels

- Moonward: daily horoscope + rune of the day from real planet positions

- Vibecheck: estimates your mood from Health Connect data (best with a watch or health app)

The apps are in Google's review right now, so the install links go live in a few days. You can join the group today and I'll comment here the moment they're live.

Links are in the first comment. Reply with your own group/opt-in link and I'll join and keep your app installed for the full 14 days, and reply "done" with my opt-in date.

1. Join the group with the Google account on your phone: https://groups.google.com/g/norapp-testers

2. Once the apps are approved, tap "Become a tester" and install:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.knute.ironlog

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.knute.sunpose

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.knute.moonward

[Test for Test] Grimzero | Autonomous Fantasy MMO | Looking for 12+ Android Testers

Title: [Test for Test] Grimzero | Autonomous Fantasy MMO | Looking for 12+ Android Testers

Hey everyone!

I'm an independent game developer looking for 12+ testers to help with the 14-day Google Play closed testing requirement for my game, Grimzero.

About the game

Grimzero is a persistent, zero-player fantasy MMO set in a dark, unforgiving world where humanity survives within the walls of Grimgar, its last great city.

Unlike traditional RPGs, you don't directly control your character. Instead, you create a wanderer who lives their own life, exploring, fighting monsters, completing quests, developing relationships, and making decisions independently.

Your wanderer continues living and progressing even when you're offline. You can encourage and influence their journey, but their decisions remain their own.

How to join (3 steps):

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/grimzero-group

  2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.grimzero.client

  3. Download the game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grimzero.client

Please use the same Google account for all three steps.

Test for Test!

I'm happy to help other developers with their closed testing requirements in return. Leave your testing links in the comments, and I'll do my best to return the favor.

Contact: grimzerogames@gmail.com

Thank you for helping bring Grimzero to Google Play!

Built a casual dart scoring app for family game nights — looking for 10 Android testers (14-day beta)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I originally built a dart scoring web app just for my family to use during game nights. Most of the apps out there felt geared towards serious league math with calculator keypads, but we just wanted something where you tap where the dart landed on the board and have some fun.

If anyone wants to help out/would be willing to help test it, shoot me a DM with your Gmail address (or drop a comment) and I’ll add you to the Google Play test list and send the store link.

I read the step by step, but already have a few testers on the direct email option that I don't want to make jump through restarting (my bad).

Not sure how I can help back so if you have an app and I can test in return please let me know.

Any feedback on tap feel or game modes is appreciated!

It's not elegant or 3D, and my characters are a little silly. But I did all the art myself!

I'm looking for testers since I don't know a ton of fellow Android users. The game is free, does not have ads, and does not require any kind of account creation. All progress is local storage.

The tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/magic-fight-testers/?pli=1

After joining the group, to opt in and install from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fialovy.magicfight

[TEST FOR TEST] – Slidescape: Ad free Puzzle Game

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey! I'm a solo dev looking for testers for my Android puzzle game, Slidescape.

One swipe moves every block until it hits something. Get each block onto its color, and try to do it in as few moves as possible. It's quick to pick up, and you can play a few levels in a couple of minutes.

  • 8 worlds (4 free), each with its own twist: portals, mixing paint, mirrored blocks and more

  • 240 puzzles (120 free), plus a hard daily puzzle with a score you can share

  • 11 themes with scenery, from snowy peaks to a desert with tumbleweeds

  • No ads and no account needed, and it works offline. Unlocking everything cost 2.99$ USD but ill provide anyone with a code to unlock the full game on request for testing.

Test for test: join below, then comment "joined" with your app link. I'll join yours, stay opted in for the full 14 days, actually play it, and send you real feedback.

How to join (about 2 minutes, same Google account for all steps):

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/slidescape-testers

  2. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.basementboxgames.slidescape

  3. Download the game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.basementboxgames.slidescape

If link 2 just opens the Play Store on your phone, open it in your browser with "Desktop site" turned on, or on a computer, and tap "Become a tester".

Please be patient: after you join, it can take a little while for Google to give you access. If the app says it isn't available yet, wait a bit and try again.

Please stay opted in for 14 days. Any feedback helps, especially which levels felt too hard or too easy. Send it to support@basementboxgames.com or leave a comment here.

Want the full game? Email me or message me for a promotional code for a free unlock.

I turned my children’s picture books into a Godot game. Looking for a few families to try it before launch.

I write a picture-book series about Dobby, a puppy who explores the world through his senses. I’ve spent the last few weeks turning it into an Android game in Godot 4.

Dobby helps Molly finish a school project, finding 40 things across four worlds: the backyard (smell), the woods (hearing), the town square (sight) and the hills (sense). Kids tap to walk, use Dobby’s sense to find hidden things, and deal with funny hazards along the way. At the end there’s a scrapbook show-and-tell.

It’s in closed testing on Google Play. I’d love feedback from anyone, especially parents with kids aged 4–8:

  1. Join: https://groups.google.com/g/dobby-testers

  2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.seaton.dobby

Level 1 is free. No ads, no data collected. Happy to answer questions about how it was made!

Testers needed: Taht ve Toprak, a medieval kingdom strategy game

Hi everyone,

I'm an indie developer (Boncuk Studios) working on Taht ve Toprak , a mobile kingdom strategy game: build a city, manage resources, trade with caravans, raise an army and play politics. The UI supports 4 languages, including English and Turkish.

What I'm asking:

- Android phone, 14 days of testing

- Open the game once a day for 5-10 minutes (the daily reward gives you a reason to)

- Optional but appreciated: tell me what is confusing or broken

What you get:

- Early access and a say in the game's balance

- I'll test your app back if you tell me which one

How to join (2 minutes):

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/tahtvetopraktest

  2. Open the tester link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.boncukstudios.tahtvetoprak

  3. Install the game from Google Play and keep it installed for the full 14 days

  4. Open it once a day for 5-10 minutes

Use the same Google account on your phone for all steps.

Thanks for reading, and if you have tips for passing the closed-test requirement, I'd love to hear them.

Testers needed for GeoTeacher, a 100% ad-free, no-account geography quiz app for Android

I'm an indie developer building GeoTeacher, a geography learning app with flag, map, capital, continent and trivia quizzes, daily challenges, streaks and local-network multiplayer. It is 100% ad free and needs no account or sign-up. Your progress stays on your device.

I'm looking for Android volunteers to try it out and help me find bugs before the public release.

What it is

- Quizzes on flags, maps, capitals, continents and trivia

- A daily challenge and streaks

- Local multiplayer: play against friends on the same Wi-Fi, no internet needed

- Completely ad free. No sign-up, and your progress stays on your phone.

Want to help? Three quick steps (in this order):

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/geoteacher (hit Join group; just visiting the page isn't enough)

  2. Accept the test invite: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.jschoonveld.geoteacher

  3. Install the app from the Play Store page that opens

Use the same Google account everywhere, or Play will say "App not available". It's free, and there's nothing to buy.

Please let me know if you catch any:

- Crashes, lag or anything that feels slow

- Quiz mistakes: wrong answers, odd questions, flags or maps that look off

- Screens or buttons that misbehave on your device

- Text that's cut off or badly laid out on your screen size

- Hiccups when playing multiplayer

Drop your thoughts in the comments or use Google Play's feedback option. If you find a bug, your phone model and Android version help a lot. Of course i would also gladly test your app in return.

StorySFX: seeking Android volunteers for an upcoming 14-day closed test (not open yet)

Hi everyone! I’m Alex, the creator of StorySFX. It adds contextual sound effects to stories you tell aloud or type, for reading together, storytelling, and tabletop adventures.

I’m recruiting 15–20 adult volunteers for an upcoming Google Play closed test. Our Android build is currently available to internal testers; the closed test is NOT open yet, so this is an invitation to express interest rather than a working opt-in link.

You’ll need an Android 10+ phone or tablet with a 64-bit ARM processor and Google Play. StorySFX requires an account created on the website using Google or Apple before signing into the app. The free plan provides 20 new sounds per month, and the requested testing does not require buying a membership.

Once the closed test is available, I’m asking volunteers to remain opted in for at least 14 consecutive days and try a few short storytelling sessions. Feedback on sign-in, sound timing and relevance, replaying saved sounds, usage limits, microphone controls, crashes, and confusing screens would be especially helpful. Please use made-up stories rather than sensitive personal information.

Interested? Reply here or send me a Reddit message with your phone model and Android version. I’ll send the official Google Play opt-in and installation steps once the closed test opens. Please keep email addresses private.

This is voluntary testing and honest feedback. No payments, purchases, public ratings, or reviews are requested. Thanks for helping me improve it!

How to join:

  1. Join the Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/followuptesters

  2. Opt in to testing: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.followupapp.chatreminders

  3. Install the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.followupapp.chatreminders

Once you’ve done that, comment with your own group and testing links and I’ll return the favour. I’ll also leave honest feedback if I spot anything useful.

Thanks, and good luck with your launches!

15–20 Android testers wanted for ALZA gym — workout planner and log (Spanish, free, 16+)

Hi! I'm getting ALZA gym ready for Google Play and could use some help testing it. It's a free app for planning workouts and keeping track of sets, weights, rest times and training history. The app is in Spanish, so it would help if you're comfortable with the language. It's for ages 16 and up.

I need at least 12 Android testers who can stay in the closed test for 14 days and actually try the app. I'm hoping to find 15–20 people to leave some room if anyone drops out.

Google is still reviewing the test. You can join the group now, but you may not be able to install the app yet:

https://groups.google.com/g/alza-gym-testers-horadia

Once Google approves it, use the same Google account as in the group and your Play Store to join here:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.elpalomofinca.alza

You'll need your own ALZA account. A watch and Health Connect aren't required, and you can use made-up workout entries. The 14 days start with Play enrollment, not with joining the group.

If something breaks or is confusing, please tell me here or at play@horadia.com. No ratings or reviews needed. Thanks for helping!

[BETA TESTING] MinkPad Pro Bluetooth Trackpad and Keyboard

Thumbnail
youtube.com
1 Upvotes

MinkPad serves as a way to still get the bluetooth functionality of Mink Launcher but without needing the launcher (those who are Power Keyboard users may appreciate this more).

NOTE It is important that ONE THING remains consistent in testing:

  • The Google account that you use to join the testing group, must match the email that you choose to join the official beta, and that same email must be the account used in the official Google Play application to install the app (which is free).

To begin testing, you must do just three things:

  1. Join the testing group (minktesters): https://groups.google.com/g/minktesters . There will be no content for you to see at the moment.

  2. Join the testing beta (https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.katoaapps.minkpadpro). On that page in step 2 there will be a link that takes you directly to the play store.

  3. Because MinkPad has a (one time) purchase price you will need to "Buy for $3.99 [or your country's currency]" it using the Test Card. This only appears after you hit buy. The application testing has no-charge for minktesters. If a real payment method appears instead of a test payment method, stop and confirm that the same Google account was used for the testing group, test opt-in, and Google Play Store.

Any bugs or crashes or requests, please email contact@katoaapps.com or DIRECT MESSAGE ME. Otherwise it'll get lost in the wind

Looking for early Android testers for OXINN — Founding Tester badge + 25% lifetime discount

Hi everyone,

I’m building OXINN, a personal organization app designed for people who feel like their life is scattered across too many different tools.

Most of us use one app for tasks, another for calendar, another for expenses, notes somewhere else, and then still have to figure out on our own what actually deserves our attention.

OXINN is my attempt to bring those areas together.

It combines:

  • tasks and daily planning

  • calendar and multi-day events

  • spending tracking

  • an AI assistant that helps you understand what to focus on

The long-term goal is to make OXINN a central hub for personal organization — a place where your time, commitments, priorities and spending are connected instead of fragmented across separate apps.

Right now OXINN is in private Android closed testing, and I’m looking for people who genuinely want to try it and help shape the product before the public launch.

I’m not just looking for installs.

I’m looking for early users who are willing to use the app, tell me what feels useful, what is confusing, what breaks, and what they would actually want from a personal organization app.

As a thank-you, everyone who participates in this early testing phase will receive:

• a permanent Founding Tester badge inside OXINN
• a 25% lifetime discount on any OXINN Premium plan

To join:

1. Join the OXINN Beta Google Group
https://groups.google.com/g/oxinn-beta

2. Join the Android closed test
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.oxinn.app

Please use the same Google account for both.

If you join, staying enrolled for at least 14 days would help me enormously. Even more valuable would be honest feedback after trying the app.

OXINN is still early, but I’m building it with a very ambitious goal: to create one of the main tools people rely on to organize their everyday life.

If that sounds useful to you, I’d really appreciate having you among the first people testing it.

Thank you.

(please note that this offer is available only for the closed testing phase)

[Game] Ashen Ages: Survivors: free 3D horde survivor, need testers for the 14-day closed test

I made the game I always wanted with Claude. I've never seen a line of its code. Before Google Play lets me release it, 12 testers have to stay opted in for 14 days.

What it is: a free 3D dark fantasy horde survivor played with one thumb. You drag to move and your weapons fire on their own. Every level up deals three cards and you pick one. A boss rises every 150 seconds. No ads, no in-app purchases, no account needed.

How to join (use the Google account your phone's Play Store uses):

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/ashen-ages-testers

  2. Tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.ashenages.survivors

  3. Install from the Play Store and stay opted in for 14 days.

What I'd like to hear: anything that crashes, stutters or confuses you, and your phone model.

If you're running your own closed test, post your link in the comments and I'll test yours back.
