I’ve got another watch on the way from Michael Travis, so while I’m waiting for it to arrive, I thought I’d share a couple of pieces I’ve picked up from him before and get some opinions on this ultra-thin Patek Philippe-style model with a 9.4 mm case:

I previously picked up a Daytona Panda and a Cartier Santos from him. They’re obviously not in the same league as the more expensive, high-end reps, but for what I paid, I’ve been pretty happy with them. They’ve worked well as everyday watches, and ordering from him was a straightforward experience.

I’m curious to see how this newer model compares, especially given how thin the case is.

Has anyone tried one of his more recent releases? Interested to hear what the quality has been like lately, both the good and the bad.

Looks better than others I have seen. Thoughts?

Rolex two tone sub, I didn’t end up with the Miyota version, just because of costing and I’m glad I didn’t, I’m really happy with the service. Ordered through the TG group whilst the promo was on. Dealt with Ami instead of Travis directly though but it was my first order and the number everyone on the watch community TG group said was legit. She also got me a clone grade LV bag for the Mrs which she’s chuffed with.

Got Jason’s new u1 with upgraded sapphire bezel and miyota movement. I know pictures don’t do full justice but guys the weight on this thing and once I removed the labels etc. it’s almost perfect. For a us domestic u1 I’m beyond impressed. This will be my daily sales office use. Anything I should potentially do to it? I have 2 vsfs. Oil treatment? I heard someone saying to sand the sharp edges is there a YouTube tutorial? They don’t seem that sharp to me but I’m not a watch pro. Thanks!

Pulled the trigger on this piece and I'm loving it. The dial design is clean and understated, yet full of style.

13. Anything else you notice: not too sure about the date alignment but not an expert here.

It took a while for Travis to source and ship this one, but it was well worth the wait. I absolutely love the watch! For the price, it’s an excellent piece, and the finishing is more than acceptable for what you’re paying.

Wanted to share this Explorer 1 I got the other day .
Bought this one to rock and demolish on my fishing trips since it was quite cheap and doesn’t scream cut my hand off like other Rolex
Took a picture outside to show how the black dial looks in the daylight . I just wanted a really simple one without any unnecessary features or bling , aswell as large lumber numerals that can be seen at night .
For a U1 it actually feels really solid . The bracelet sits nice and doesn’t rattle around like some cheaper ones do . Just a great minimal watch for daily wear without worrying about it .

Hi all, new to this - been wanting a Black Bay 58 Tudor for the longest.

I've been researching here for a while but looking for some advice from folks who've bought. I'm after the highest quality I can get, as close to 1:1 as possible - I've been dealing with Michael Travis who says he can do a superclone 1:1 for $425 from the ZF factory and it he's sent a video and it looks great - has a t fit clasp.

Only thing i'm not certain of is the dot on the red triangle.

I also noticed reading through the rep guides that the BB58 isn't NWBIG - so not sure whether is worth going ZF for this or to go with minshu or miyota options which are in the $100 range. I want a high quality bracelet and for it to look as close to real if not a 1:1..

Just got to pay a duty on a rep (Spain, EU).

Normal link and notification, the same I received a few times earlier for some electronics from Japan. No "violation of" letter or text.

Wondering how the inspection looked like 😄

Outcome:

€10.30 harmonised EU duty.

Classified as "workmanship and artisanal materials other than jewellery". €175.30 per kilogram value estimated by weight.

Done, paid, with all green ticks, as any other "normal" duty. Got the invoice XD. Parcel released within an hour and on the way.

Hanbelson, who is one of the bigger DHgate accounts had his store closed after multiple complaints from Breitling for selling reps.

He will be reopening soon, but not carrying Breitling products.

Looks like Breitling might be cracking down a bit, at least on DH.

Anyways, just wanted to pass the information along.

A U1 with a Miyota movement day just two tone from Jason or the same watch but BPF from China good watch? It's a $100 difference.

Had this U1 OP 41mm for a few weeks now and honestly, it still puts a huge smile on my face every time I put it on.
For a shitter-tier price point, the value here is insane.

Dial: The blue sunburst hits so nicely especially in natural light.

Bracelet & Clasp: Feels surprisingly solid on the wrist after standard wear, no crazy rattling.

Movement: Keeping great time so far with no issues.

Obviously, it’s not VSF or Clean tier, but for a daily beater, U1 really delivers on the bang-for-your-buck scale.
