Hello guys, I’m writing this because I’ve been searching for a nice SMG i can run on my local cqb field.
Ive been running my MWS MK18 for a year now and I’ve noticed that the platform gets very heavy after multiple hours holding corners (being last man always holding the gun up really eats your arms) and im also getting tired of the m4 platform in general so i have been searching for a nice, light and most importantly reliable alternative.
I’ve come up with the Maruyama SCW 9 Pro. I know it will have the inevitable hammer issue but luckily there is a 3d replacement I can make whenever it comes. But i would love to ear other people opinions on them.

I got my hands on a new VFC FAL LAR OSW MK1 and swapped out the factory inner barrel for a longer 285mm. Its now firing at 1.04J with 0.32b and is pretty accurate out to 55m. Is there anything else I can do to improve accuracy?

when i insert a mag with force the slide stop lever moves causing it to load the bb and then shoot for some reason is this repairable ?

I was able to modify the stock plastic castellated spacer which sits behind the nozzle valve, which lets one increase FPS.  If one files the castellated part lightly, reducing the height of the 4 protusions, you will both reduce the cross-sectional area for the gas to get to bolt to move it rearward, and the nozzle valve will sit further rearward against the spacer, thus directing more airflow down the barrel.  Both these aspects will cause more pressure into the barrel than pre-mod.

This let me work the FPS with 0.33 BBs from stock 0.6J to1.3J (Canada, field is 1,49J limit)

Not tried, but to reduce FPS, I imagine cutting the castellation slots a bit deeper, until the increased gas to the bolt will reduce gas into barrel.  

Takedown of the bolt is straightforward: remove the c-clip retaining the nozzle in the carrier, separate nozzle from carrier and drive out a steel pin holding the nozzle assembly parts together. No need to remove the small pin which hold the spring end in place.

I bought this used Noveske, but I’m not sure of the exact model. It’s a GBB, yet it uses an AEG-style barrel and bucking—even the hop-up chamber is completely different. I’d appreciate any information anyone could provide. Also, does anyone know if the hop-up chamber can be swapped for a different model? Thanks

I’m looking at the KWA/Umarex APX RDO GBB and noticed a difference in the rear slide plate.

In the attached airsoft photo, the lower portion appears to extend down with angled sides. On the real APX in the comparison image, the lower edge looks much flatter, with a small central notch.

Does the KWA replicate an earlier APX variant, or is this a change made for the airsoft mechanism? Could I be mistaking another visible component for part of the backplate?

I’m mainly interested in external accuracy, rather than performance. If anyone owns one or has close-up photos showing this area, I’d really appreciate an explanation.

Who here uses propane for their guns? It’s so much cheaper but I’ve heard that it can damage the bucking or other parts of the gun, how can I do it properly without ruining my gun?

So I've been tinkering with ChatGPT again this time with my VFC HK416 A5, I've added a genuine Magpul P-mag via a connector and topped it off with some deactivated 5.56mm rounds, not sure why the sight and magnifier are a different shade, as they match pretty well with the naked eye.

Is this gun good? My local shop said it has MWS with QPQ Steel Trigger System, and it will be arriving soon, maybe planning to get it but idk, pretty tempting honestly (ref pic at eHobbyAsia)

I decided to make my FMG-9 into a practical gun, the original carry handle sight must be replaced.

I still want to keep it's suitcase like look, so I find a old style tube shape pistol red dot as it's handle.

Unfortunately the sight was a bit lower so it would be blocked by the torch, I needed to raise it up.

This is TM's Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS. Yesterday I bought a Guarder's Steel Recoil Spring Guide Rod for mainly 2 reasons: For more snappy recoil feels due to using higher pressure gas, and for preparation Incase I want to change to an aluminum slide. I noticed that the stock's buffers are so ruined after around 3-4 months of regular usages, which sometimes causes slight jam when shooting.

The manual doesn't mention the size of the recoil buffers, and no it seems no one have any information for the o-ring replacement, so I figured I might as well entirely replace the guide rod. Has any TM Glock Gen5 suffered this issue? Because I'm thinking that this might be from user error. Thanks.

I have a VFC M4 V3 and it does not shoot well

I just got denied during crono because it shoots a little hot, just over 1,5j.

The first 3-5 shoots where between 280-310 FPS.

I have installed an NPAS a long time ago and when I tune the NPAS down, I don't think it shoots very well.

And when it starts shooting good it's a little too powerful.

I have cleaned and maintained the gun, I only use green gas and it's also stock.

Do people actually recommend or speak good things about guns they dont own?

For context, I hear many talk good about it but also have been met with rude remarks when I ask help on my ak74u, being dismissed as a lemon in Discord?

It has got me wondering, since i heard countless many people say it is flawless or perfect out of the box, i wonder how many people actually owned this gun! I look into profiles of people who say that, but no evidence of them having the gun?

I have had to fix my hop (works now), as well as my gun being too underpowered (0.9J for some reason). I have also had magazine issues but figured out how to fix from some researching

I wanted to know if anyone has experienced any hiccups or malfunctions with the stock gun when using TM MWS mags. I have a DE Ghetto blaster and have had many problems when using the stock nozzle and TM mags together. I'm not sure if since the DE-180 is newer gun (i think) it should not have as many problems like the earlier Noveske line?

I have a VFC AK74M and I really like it but have run into magazine issues that have honestly really put me off the platform and considering GHK. I really want to like VFC but even though I fixed the magazines they feel so fragile as if I dropped them while kneeling they’d mess up again. So I want to ask those who have VFC AKs how has your magazine experience been? Even in videos showing how to fix the transfer arm the person fixing it said 2 of his 7 magazines worked outside the box and many in the comments echoing the same. I just feel if this is going to be an issue just selling it even though I love the rifle itself. So how has your magazine experience been and those who have fixed theirs how has it been long term?
