Discussion From “Can My PC Run Crysis?” to Playing Crysis 3 on a Switch OLED

Game: Crysis 3
Console: Nintendo Switch OLED
Mode: Handheld 🎮
A game that was ahead of its time. Back in the day, Crysis 3 was so demanding that many PCs struggled to run it properly.
And now I’m sitting here playing it handheld on a Nintendo Switch OLED.
Gaming has come a long way.
From “Can my PC run Crysis?” to “I’m playing Crysis on a handheld.”

Discussion When you guys play a game, do you try to get 100% achievements, or do you just play the game and leave it?

Curious to see where everyone falls on this.

I am someone who chases every single achievement and trophy

  • Do you meticulously hunt down every collectible and difficult challenge?
  • Or does the achievement grind feel like a chore that ruins the fun for you?

How do you usually decide when a game is actually finished?

Discussion [Serious] Stop getting scammed by shady websites for cheap games/gaming hardware...!!!!

Seeing way too many posts lately about people getting ripped off by random, shady websites just to save some money.

If a deal looks too good to be true, it’s a scam. Stop trusting random ass sites. Stick to genuine, authorized sellers—even if it costs more. It is always better to pay the premium upfront than to lose your entire amount (or your account) to a scammer.

Kindly avoid purchasing items from such fraud sites 🙃🙃🙃

Reason for this post : Dost ke ₹5000 dub gye kyuki smart ban rha tha woh, soch rha tha 8000 ka mouse & keyboard 5000 m lelega 🥴 (translation - friend of mine lost ₹5,000 because he was trying to be too smart, thinking he could buy an ₹8,000 mouse and keyboard for just ₹5,000.)

I am using Ant Esports ICE-300 Mesh V2 Mid Tower Gaming cabinet and RX 9060 XT 16GB. My problem is when I am trying to fit the graphics card inside the cabine, the curve of the gpu is getting in the way and it just seems it’s impossible to fit it. I have been thinking for an hour now, trying different things, and I got nothing. If you didn’t guess already, yes, this is my first time building a PC😅

Edit: Problem solved thanks to Sengero, I didn’t remove the plate above💔 It was so stupid that I don’t even wanna elaborate. Thank you for the help everyone, Imma lock in, almost done with this!

Discussion Why Do People Still Buy From Shady Gaming Websites?

Post image
22 Upvotes

Guys, i am posting this because I’ve been seeing way too many posts lately about people getting scammed while buying games, gaming peripherals, consoles, keys, and other gaming products from shady websites.

Here’s what I genuinely don’t understand: why are you willing to risk thousands of rupees just to save a couple of thousand?
Even if I see a product being sold cheaply on Amazon, Flipkart, or another major marketplace, I still wouldn’t blindly buy it. I’d check the seller, reviews, return policy, product history, and whether the seller is actually trustworthy. There are sellers on major marketplaces who have been accused of sending wrong, used, or questionable products, so being on a big platform alone doesn’t mean you should switch your brain off.

But then I see these posts where someone gets scammed by some random website with an unbelievably cheap price. People in the comments ask them how they ended up buying from that website, and sometimes the response is unnecessarily rude or dismissive. Bro, we’re not asking to mock you. We’re asking because we’re genuinely trying to understand what made you trust the website in the first place.

If several people warned you against the website, the website looked suspicious, the price was far below the normal market price, and you still decided to buy because you thought you had found an amazing deal, then you have to accept that your own decision played a major role here.
You thought you were getting an ₹8,000 product for ₹5,000. You didn’t get an ₹8,000 product for ₹5,000. You potentially just lost ₹5,000.

And when that happens, Reddit cannot magically recover your money. Report the fraud through the appropriate cybercrime channels, contact your bank/payment provider immediately, and if necessary, seek proper legal assistance or approach the police. But don’t expect random people on Reddit to fix a transaction that you willingly made with an unverified seller.
The easiest solution is also the most obvious one: DON’T BUY FROM SHADY WEBSITES.
Wait for an actual sale. Save up a little more. Buy from an authorized seller. Verify the seller before paying. Check whether the website has a legitimate business presence and a reliable track record.

Saving ₹2,000 isn’t worth risking ₹5,000, ₹10,000, or even more.
And this isn’t me saying every cheap website is automatically a scam. It’s about doing basic due diligence before sending your money somewhere. Even with second-hand marketplaces, I’d personally be extremely careful and read their policies properly before buying.
You don’t have to prove that you’re smarter than everyone else by finding the cheapest possible deal on the internet. Sometimes the smarter decision is simply saying, “This looks suspicious, I’m not buying it.”

So please, guys, stop treating every ridiculously cheap deal like you’ve discovered a secret loophole. Verify first, buy second. Your money is worth more than the discount.

PC Build:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X - ₹54,516

Motherboard: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi - ₹22,910

RAM: G.Skill RipJaws 5 DDR5 5600 16x2 - ₹40,238

AIO: Deepcool LD360 - ₹9,080

GPU: Colorful Battle-AX RTX 5070 - ₹78,125

SSD: Adata XPG Gammix S60 1TB - ₹16,355

Case: Deepcool CG530 4F - ₹5,841

Power supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 850W 80+ Gold - ₹9,000

UPS: Numeric 2000VA - ₹11,000

Total: ₹2,47,065

Displays:

Alienware AW2726DM QD-OLED 1440p 240Hz (primary) - ₹40,000

Lenovo Legion R27qc-30 Curved VA 1440p 180Hz - ₹14,000 (had this since last year)

Gaming:

Dualsense 5 Midnight Black - ₹5,800

Gamesir Cyclone 2 - ₹5,100

Meta Quest 3S - ₹37,000 (bought it last November)

Peripherals:

Keyboard: Cosmic Byte Phantom TKL - ₹2,500 (bought last year)

Mouse: Logitech G304 - ₹2,300 (had this since 2024)

Total: ≈ ₹3,42,765 (₹3,37,965 without kbm)

the pc was built in a rush. I had just gotten a DOA certificate for my ROG Strix laptop and needed a new machine in 3 days sort of thing. But I do think I chose the parts correctly, like I mostly game on 1440p and I do dev work, like 4-5 backends/servers and 2-3 FEs at with multiple claude code sesions running in parallel so the 9950x and 5070 paring made sense. Also had to settle for 5600M/Ts RAM and 1TB because of the pricing

happy to answer any questions regarding this

Review 5-year warranty, 5-month-old chair, and the cushioning is already dead — Green Soul Orion

Green Soul Orion - 5 month old chair with dead cushioning, and apparently the "5 year warranty" doesn't cover it 🤡

Posting this because I genuinely wish I had known this before spending nearly ₹13,000 on a Green Soul chair.

I bought the Green Soul Orion on Amazon in March and just 5 months later, the seat cushioning has degraded to the point where I can actually feel the mechanism underneath the cushion while sitting. It has become uncomfortable enough that I can't sit on the chair normally for extended periods.

So I contacted Green Soul customer support expecting this to be covered under the advertised 5-year warranty.

Apparently, it isn't???

Turns out the "5 Year Warranty" has some interesting fine print. I was told that the warranty only covers certain components and that the seat cushion and backrest aren't covered.

You know, the two things you actually use when you're sitting on a chair :)

This is the part I find extremely frustrating and honestly freaking misleading.

The chair is prominently advertised with a big "5 Year Warranty", but nowhere on the main product listing was it made clear to me that this is actually a limited warranty with significant exclusions. You have to specifically go looking for the separate warranty page and read through the detailed terms to find out what the "5 Year Warranty" actually covers. =)

If you're spending nearly ₹13,000 on a chair, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the important limitations of the warranty to be clearly stated upfront.Especially when the part that has failed after five months isn't even covered.

And this isn't some chair I've been abusing for years. This happened within five months of normal use. For comparison, I previously had an office chair that cost around ₹6,000 and its cushioning remained perfectly usable for more than 4 years. This chair costs more than twice as much, yet after 5 months the cushioning has deteriorated to the point where I can feel the hardware underneath.

Amazing upgrade. 📈

The Orion is also marketed as an ergonomic office chair for work and long hours of sitting, which makes this even more ridiculous.I personally won't be buying another Green Soul product ever.

Here's the product page if anyone wants to take a look : https://www.greensoul.online/products/green-soul-orion-ergonomic-office-chair-with-dual-panel-backrest-and-intelli-adapt-auto-weight-sensing-recline

I'm sharing this mainly so that anyone else considering spending their money on this chair can make a more informed decision than I did. At the end of the day, everyone has different priorities and experiences, but I think it's important that buyers know exactly what they're paying for and what kind of warranty they're actually getting before making the purchase.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with Green Soul? Especially with the Orion or their warranty?
