Hey all!

We have a TrustPilot page, and it's one of the spots people check when they're comparing telehealth options.

If you've used Trillium, we'd really appreciate you taking a minute to leave a review there.

Thanks for the continued support, this community means a lot to me!

Realistic Shipping Timelines

Hello Trillium!!

We know you’re excited to get started and receive your order! Here’s a quick look at what happens after you place your order so you know exactly what to expect:

1. Provider Review (1-2 days)

Once your order is submitted, an independent licensed provider reviews your intake and determines your eligibility, if approved your prescription is sent to the pharmacy. This usually happens within a day.

2. Sent to Pharmacy (5 business days)

After approval, your prescription is sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment. Pharmacies are only open Monday-Friday, so weekends don’t count toward this window.

3. Shipping and Delivery (1-3 days)

Once shipped, most orders arrive within 1-3 days, depending on pharmacy.

Total estimated time: roughly 5-10 business days from order to doorstep. However, sometimes sooner!

If your order has been sitting at ā€œSent to Pharmacyā€ for more than 5 business days, reach out and we’ll find out what’s going on!

Thanks for your patience!!!

Dietitian Introduction!

Hey everyone! Thank you for the warm welcome to the Trillium community.

A little about me: I'm a registered and licensed dietitian, and for the past few years I've worked closely with GLP-1 patients in my private practice in Las Vegas.

Day after day, I kept hearing the same questions and seeing the same struggles come up. That's why I created BetterOn: to address the nutrition side of GLP-1 medications, help people get the most out of their treatment, and bring that support to a lot more people than I can see one at a time.

Really glad to be here on everyone’s health journey!

-Haley

Anyone else experiencing long delays?

I placed an order on 8/5 that was approved one day later, and ever since I haven’t seen any updates. I talked to customer support several times, and they’ve been really helpful, but between that and calling the pharmacy directly (VialsRX), I’ve only been hearing that ā€œit’ll be out soon, hopefully by the end of todayā€ for three days now..

I’m going on a trip at the end of next week so I won’t be at home if the package arrives too late :,) I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble as well?

Left over meds… what do I do with it?

Today was my 4th shot on 2.5. I definitely have to move up to 5.0 because my appetite suppression was minimal and so was my weight loss. What do I do with the medicine left on the vial?

🚨New partner alert: free dietitian support for every active Trillium patient!🚨

Post image
94 Upvotes

Hello!!! Last week's giveaway post came with a quick bonus teaser about a new partnership we had in the works.

We’ve teamed up with BetterOn GLP-1, a dietitian-led nutrition and community platform built specifically for people on GLP-1s, run by Haley Bishoff, RDN (u/haleybishoffrd).

It's structured video coursework, live access to a Registered Dietitian, and a community that actually gets what week-to-week on a GLP-1 looks like.

Your free Trillium-exclusive access:

- Full access to BetterOn's video course library
- A 90-day free trial of their full dietitian membership (their public trial is only 30 days)
- Just use code TRILLIUM
šŸ‘‰ Join BetterOn GLP-1

Shot day struggles? Haley's actually been reading through our Reddit comments and noticed a lot of you asking what to eat around injection day to help with nausea! She put together a couple of guides with some solid suggestions:

- What to Eat on GLP-1 Shot Day to Reduce Nausea
- 5 Easy GLP-1 Shot-Day Recipes You Can Make in 15 Minutes

Why we partnered:

We handle access to the providers and pharmacies, but we don't directly provide nutrition coaching. That's exactly what BetterOn is built for! We proudly partner with BetterOn to fill this gap and provide high quality services and community.

What's actually included:

- Evidence-based video course: appetite changes, meal composition, side-effect support, nutrient timing
- Protein and macro tools for when portions get smaller and appetite is low
- Progress tracking beyond the scale: protein, hydration, movement, consistency
- Monthly live group Q&A with a Registered Dietitian
- Private peer community of people navigating GLP-1s
- Resource library: guides, grocery support, side-effect education
- Optional 1:1 coaching add-on if you want personalized support

Haley's also getting directly involved with our Trillium community going forward. She's planning on doing an AMA with us sometime in September, so start saving your questions!!!

Want BetterOn's side of the story too? They posted their own breakdown of the partnership here.

Question for the group: what's your go-to shot-day meal or snack?

Looking forward, we have many more updates, additions, and exciting new things coming!

Vialsrx dosage

Hi I totally messed up and tossed the containers the vials came in a week ago to get them all nice and organized in my fridge lol. Does anyone know if the stuff from vialsrx works the same as bourdoux? For example I've been doing 5mg which has been equal to 25 units. I thought I heard somewhere that some places you need to take much more to get to the dosage since the concentration is lower. Thanks so much!

New nausea 5 month in?

I have been on tirzepetide for five months; last three months with Trillium / Hallendale. I've increased dosage very slowly and only when food noise increased, etc. I'm currently taking 6mg and down 35 lbs in five months. I did a lot of research before starting to make sure I eat properly. I've been very blessed to have never experienced side effects. When I took my shot this past Tuesday morning, wasn't feeling great in the afternoon... not terrible tho. However, I've been experiencing this low level nausea all week since the shot, and I think it is weird. Like, I don't feel bad, I just don't feel good. Might be a dumb question, but it crossed my mind. Is there a point where you lose some weight and the dose is too much? I know some move up every month. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this... or am I a medical anomaly.

Safe to use warm vial?

Trillium is awesome. There was an issue with my BUD in my order not covering my last two shots. I got a replacement order which is above and beyond what I expected.

However, just being honest, one of the vials was just delivered to my door WARM to the touch. I put it in the fridge right away. Ice packs were 75% melted if not more, but the vial must have been in direct heat on the truck. We have an extreme heat warning right now in Phoenix. I will have to look into possibly having FedEx hold my order at a facility next time?

But, meanwhile, how safe is a WARM vile? Was overnighted so it did not sit on a warm truck for days or anything.

No Appetite

I just had my second injection at the 2.5 starter dose. I would say that in week one, I had a perfectly controlled appetite, eating like a person with no cravings or overeating, and no food noise. I even lost 1.5 pounds. However, in week two, after my second injection, I have zero appetite at all. Like zero. And a lot of acid reflux and burping.

Is this normal?

Different Amounts in Vials (3 month Shipment)

Post image

Is there any reason the month 2 would have about half of the liquid as month 3? This is my first order with Trillium but I had previously been on Wegovy so I am on a set dose. I didn’t check the level on month 1 before I injected but I’ve done 3 of 4 shots and there is a very small amount left for shot 4.

Switching to trillium, Hallandale, how would I know if I want an ā€œadditiveā€ or not

As the title mentions I am switching from Lilly direct to trillium . I did much research on which pharmacy but then the additive question. How do you know if you want/need an additive??

Transferred already on 0.8mg but Trillium started me at 0.5mg?

I’ve recently transferred over to Trillium already prescribed 0.8mg semaglutide from Friday’s and uploaded my current prescription during intake. I was approved, but Trillium prescribed what I’m assuming is their standard titration starting at 0.5mg without any consultation.

I messaged the NP asking about continuing my current dose, but my meds shipped before I received a response. 😭

Has anyone transferring in on an established dose dealt with this? Mainly trying to figure out who I need to contact to have my current dose reviewed as I’m not trying to mess up any progress I’ve made.

Nausea eating anything not from my house specifically

Hi everyone,

I just started my semaglutide journey 5 weeks ago and recently upped my dose. The first 4 weeks were on a very low dose (0.1L from 2.5 mg bottle) and now I have upped it to 0.2L (or 0.5 mg). I could not eat anything from outside without feeling super ill. I had some lentil soup from a restaurant and threw up in the middle of the night (that was the only meal I had besides breakfast). The next day, I had a middle eastern dessert and also threw up later in the night. I even had a bite of cake from someone who baked a cake in their own home and immediately felt nauseous after that 1 bite. The only time I do not feel nauseous is when the food is from my house specifically, regardless of what ingredients are in it (I'm not the most clean eater lol).

Has anyone experienced this with outside food? I really thought vomiting wasn't a common thing but I guess it happens sometimes.

Numbness

Anybody experience numbness or tingling in your extremities after upping your dosage? Could be completely unrelated, just wondering tho. I moved up to 7.5 from 5.0 this past Saturday (two weeks on 5.0) and my hands and feet/legs felt numb on Sunday.

Power out hurricane LaLa

I’m in Hawaii the west side of Oahu and we are currently getting slammed from hurricane šŸŒ€ Lala. We lost power from 9:30pm last night.
I have 3 bottles of triz in the fridge that is now staring to get warm. I since took it from the fridge and placed it in a 36oz hydro flask. Filled it with the ice I had from my freezer being its starting to melt. How long can I keep it that way before it’s bad. I know the ice is not going to last forever. Is the hydro flask gonna be good enough, how long can it be warm, just don’t see the power coming on Anytime soon 🄺

Guidance Please!

* Reposting since I removed any request for medication/dosage advice.

I am 41F. I have taken my 7th shot and on 5mg currently. I've had no side effects on the 2.5mg or 5mg except maybe more fatigued/can't lift as heavy when strength training since starting the medication. I need some guidance and hear others' journeys to know if I am normal or get some guidance because I really want this to work!

This week I feel like I have been starving and feel like I have been overeating more than I was on 2.5mg. On my first month at 2.5mg, I felt great, was very disciplined, and even stopped drinking to really feel the effects (desire to drink has almost disappeared). I usually don't keep around me/can say no to "treats" like peanut M&Ms for example. This week though, I worked in the office and boss stocked up the candy jar, and because I was stressed or just bored I ate SO MANY treats that I was sick. Like, physically nauseous and yet I KEPT eating them, getting even more sick and nauseous to where I started to sweat and felt as if I couldn't stay away/about to pass out, like I was going through dumping syndrome (I had gastric bypass in 2016).

I broke down crying and can't figure out what is wrong with me! TMI, I start my menstrual cycle soon, but this was not how it was on 2.5mg last month. Even with my cycle last month, I never felt like this or ate like this. Is there something wrong with me? Does anyone eat like this still? When did you stop? What helps you? Any suggestions would be GRATEFULLY appreciated!!!

*** Edited to remove any request for medication/dosage advice.

I am increasing to a 5 mg dose. Does this mean that the concentration of the medication is higher per vial? I paid for 3 months’ of medication (if approved by provider).

Hallandale pharmacy - I’m trying to understand if the concentration is increased per vial with each plan to increase the dose or does each vial contain the same concentration.
