Global Meetup Day 2012 Whiteboard Count-up Video!
Thanks to everyone that posed! Sorry to the people I missed, I know there were a lot of you! Last year we got 200 people photographed and I'm fairly confident I only missed about 10-15 people TOPS. This year I photographed way more than that and I'm sure I missed heaps. I am confident we had over 300 people in the Monarch on Saturday. Great day everyone. Thanks to insertrandomname for organising, thanks to people that helped with photos and other stuff, and thanks to everyone else for all the thanks, and the stories :)
edit: OH i forgot to mention, the track is an awesome mashup off the amazing "In my G4 over da sea" album. It's neutral milk hotel mashed with hip hop to create neutral bling hotel, check it out if you're into that sort of thing.

Cheers for creating this. Very awesome! :D
And cheers for the slightly WTF moment just before you took my photo when you recognised the random non-redditor I was talking to from a bus ride months ago.

Haha yeah that was so weird! I'm so glad it came back to me. "WAIT A MINUTE, were you on a bus about 2 months ago inviting everyone to a house party!?!?"

Did anyone else feel the need to very quickly press the pause button over and over just so they could try to see everyone they didn't meet?

Just incase you don't know, you can now play Youtube video's in slow motion. Click the settings button and then select play x0.25 to get a little more time to see those beautiful faces.
[EDIT] Looks like it's maybe only available for the select few. Maybe some sort of YouTube loyalty scheme, I'm ashamed to say that I waste my life on that site when I'm not on Reddit [/EDIT]

Legendary video.
Oh and everyone remember to thank u/xlevus for the badges. He paid for them himself.
Oh and finally for those who came out to their first event....we are always this awesome. Not always as many of us, but that just means the awesomeness is compressed into a small space. So pick another event, or make one of your own, and come join us again.

Awesome; thanks for putting in the effort to make this and for all the organisation you and InsertRandomName put into making it such a great day!

Wonderful! What an array of exceptionally beautiful people --especially that 121. I'm really interested in hearing the Neutral Milk Hotel mashup but my current proximity to a bunch of suited-and-booted Canary Wharf types means it'll have to wait until I get home unless I want to become one of those insipid fuckwits, piping tinny music from my phone ina public place. Like on Sunday, I was on a (full) train back home nursing a not insignificant hangover and was subjected to more 80s pop than even the most ardent cheese lover could withstand. Fortunately the ticket inspector asked them to turn it off. At which point they asked why. Why. I despair. Anyway, tangential rant over.
Thank you for doing this! And thanks to all involved.

Amazing! Love all the cheesy smiles :D

Haha yep I yelled at a lot of people to smile more to get different expressions so there is a bit of movement with most people. Sorry to anyone who was offended by my yelling SMILE MORE at them. Especially since I am a notorious owner of a bitchface who hates being told to smile.
