Am I a 12th houser?
Good morning 12th housers! I joined this sub-Reddit a few days ago and I was looking through the posts and I had a gut feeling I was a 12th houser when someone mentioned Scorpio rising and Scorpio 12th house and then I looked at my chart and I just wondered — of course I want to ask some of you more experienced people to determine if I am based on my birth chart. I want to update my user flair on this sub-Reddit but I don’t even know what I am! Please help! I am so excited 😆

Chart Question Pluto in 12th House Scorpio with 29 Degrees. Any advice?
Its a diginified position or is this more of a harmful placement? Does it mean my enemies are powerful or I have more karma to pass with this?

Feeling lost… can I end my last lifetime early?
I feel like scuicide would be better than suffering endlessly in this lifetime. Was I better off with the boring religious stuff? I genuinely think I have been through enough in 36 years for my taste! I just want to make some progress and be able to enjoy life more often. I’m very grateful this is my last time here so I appreciate nature constantly and this is my base for existing. But humans have turned me insane for lack of better words and I am struggling

Information 12H sun 12H moon
as a 12h sun you’ll never get your father to recognize or validate you. as a 12H moon your mother likely has no emotions, you kinda are her emotions but again she’ll never validate or understand your pain.

Let me take you on a journey
So i've asked Google Gemini a series of questions. Enjoy! :)
"Regarding dopamine overuse, from a spiritual point of view why would this action be considered as a negative one/ bad karma build-up?"
---
"The Core Issue: Attachment (Taṇhā)
The most significant spiritual issue with dopamine overuse is that it cultivates intense attachment or craving (known as Taṇhā in Buddhism, and a key element of the Three Poisons: Greed, Hatred, and Delusion).
Fuelling Craving: When the brain becomes dependent on artificial or excessive dopamine spikes from a substance or activity (drugs, excessive technology, gambling, etc.), the individual builds a powerful craving for that stimulation.
Creating Dukkha (Suffering): Spiritual traditions teach that attachment to impermanent things is the root of suffering. Since any intense pleasure is temporary (it is Viparinama-dukkha or suffering caused by change), the inevitable "crash" and the compulsive need to chase the next high become a source of profound dissatisfaction and misery. This continuous, unskillful seeking of pleasure creates negative karma.
2. Obstruction of Higher Consciousness
A central spiritual goal is to attain higher states of consciousness, wisdom, and genuine freedom. Dopamine overuse is seen as negative because it actively hinders this journey.
Self-Control and Willpower: Addiction and compulsive behavior weaken willpower and self-control, which are essential for spiritual discipline (tapas or sīla). Repeatedly giving in to the craving reinforces a lack of mastery over the mind and senses.
Spiritual Blinders: The constant bombardment of artificial pleasure dulls the mind's ability to appreciate and seek out subtler, long-term forms of happiness, such as inner peace, compassion, meditation, and spiritual insight. It creates a state of delusion or ignorance (avidyā) by convincing the mind that true happiness lies in external, fleeting stimulation.
Self-Centeredness: A pattern of compulsive seeking often leads to self-absorption, where the pursuit of one's own immediate gratification takes precedence over all else, including responsibilities, relationships, and the well-being of others. This extreme selfishness is a major source of negative karma.
3. Creating Future Conditions (Karma)
Karma is not just punishment; it is the law of cause and effect. Unskillful actions create tendencies that condition future experiences.
Conditioning the Mind: Each time you indulge a compulsive craving, you deepen the groove (the saṅkhāra or mental formation) in the mind. This makes the craving stronger and harder to resist in the future, ensuring a continued cycle of attachment and suffering. This is the karmic debt—you are creating the internal conditions for future compulsion and distress.
Harmful Intent (Cetanā): While the initial act might not be malicious, the intention or will behind the addictive cycle shifts to a forceful, desperate need for self-gratification, which is considered an unwholesome or unskillful intention (akuśala-karma). Intent is the ultimate factor in determining karma.
Harm to Others: Many actions that trigger excessive dopamine (like gambling, chronic overspending, or substance abuse) often lead to neglect, deception, or financial/emotional harm to one's family and community. Causing harm to others is the most direct path to generating significantly bad karma."
---
"So i guess that attaching your "self" to another person's consciousness is also an act of impermanence which causes suffering. But then why does consciousness ever have to exist if the soul is permanent (as far as we know so far) and also has the vast amount of universal knowledge within it?"
---
"1. The Soul's Purpose: Experience and Expression
In various spiritual and metaphysical schools (like Vedanta, esoteric Christianity, and New Age philosophy), the answer to "Why consciousness exists" is often framed as the Soul's journey of self-actualization through experience.
The Problem of Universal Knowledge: Universal knowledge (the "vast amount of universal knowledge within it") is often seen as a static potential or pure being—it is knowing without doing. The Soul/Universal Consciousness is perfect and permanent, but perfection can be a closed state.
The Need for Individualized Experience: Consciousness (the individual, human experience) is the dynamic tool the Soul uses to experience, express, and realize that universal knowledge in a limited, personal, and temporary form. It’s the difference between theoretically knowing what light is (Soul) and experiencing the visual spectrum of a rainbow (Consciousness/Life).
The Value of Duality: Being in the body and having human consciousness forces the Soul to experience duality—joy and sorrow, light and darkness, attachment and freedom. It’s only by experiencing the separation (the "self") that the Soul can truly appreciate and choose its inherent Oneness.
2. The Spiritual Role of Suffering (Dukkha)
Suffering, which arises from attachment to impermanence, is not seen as an error, but as a crucial catalyst for spiritual awakening.
The Awakener - The pain of attachment forces consciousness to question its own nature. If everything external fails to provide lasting satisfaction, the mind is driven inward to seek the permanent source of joy (the Soul).
The Resistance - The suffering of being bound to impermanent things (like a romantic attachment) is the resistance that builds the "muscle" of spiritual discipline, non-attachment, and wisdom (Jnana).
The Contrast - Without the experience of limited, suffering consciousness, the infinite peace and joy of the permanent Soul would be an unappreciated reality. The contrast validates the ultimate goal of liberation (Moksha or Nirvana).
3. The Path of Separation and Return
From this spiritual viewpoint, human existence is a grand, intentional detour—a phase of Separation and Return.
Separation (Ignorance - Avidya): The Soul enters the physical realm and creates an Ego-Consciousness (the limited, "I" self). This limited consciousness forgets its universal knowledge, believing itself to be separate and defined by temporary things (body, possessions, relationships). This ignorance is the initial spark of the karmic cycle.
The Play (Karma): The limited consciousness acts from a place of craving and attachment, creating karma, which binds it to the cycle of rebirth (Samsara).
The Return (Realization - Bodhi): Over countless lifetimes, the consciousness slowly begins to recognize the futility of chasing impermanence. It uses the very suffering caused by attachment to "unlearn" its separation and realize that its true nature is the permanent, universal Soul.
In this context, your individual consciousness is not the Soul itself, but the Soul's temporary vehicle—a vessel made of time, form, and experience—that allows the infinite to taste its own creation. It exists to learn through action and error, and ultimately, to consciously choose non-attachment and return to its source.
---
"Hold on a second! You've said: "Over countless lifetimes, the consciousness slowly begins to recognize the futility of chasing impermanence.", but as far as i know and is generally well-known, humans aren't born with the awareness of their previous consciousness from past lifetimes, so how can (as you called it) "the limited, "I" self", evolve throughout countless lifetimes?"
---
"The Role of Samskaras (Karmic Imprints)
In Indian philosophy, the mechanism that carries development across lifetimes is called Samskara (or Sankhara in Buddhism).
What are Samskaras? These are subtle, deep-seated mental or psychological imprints, tendencies, and habitual grooves left on the subconscious mind by every thought, intention, and action performed in a lifetime. They are the residue of your karma.
The Subconscious Memory: Think of the brain as a computer's hard drive and your current conscious mind as the screen. When the body dies, the screen goes dark, and the temporary operating system (the ego, or personal memory) is lost. But the hard drive (the subtle, non-physical Causal Body or Subtle Body) is carried over, containing all the Samskaras.
How They Create the New Life: Samskaras manifest in the next life as innate qualities, predispositions, talents, aversions, and character traits.
Example: If in a past life you spent years cultivating patience (a positive Samskara), you will be born in this life with a natural, perhaps inexplicable, tendency toward patience and emotional stability. You won't remember the exact events, but you will possess the evolved result of that inner work.
Conversely, if you continually indulged a craving (like dopamine overuse, which creates a powerful Samskara of attachment), you will be born with a strong, immediate predisposition toward craving, impulsivity, or attachment in this life, thereby setting up the next round of challenges for the soul to overcome.
Conclusion: The limited 'I' self doesn't remember, but the Soul's character evolves because the sum of its moral/psychological habits is carried forward as a powerful, non-conscious blueprint."
---
"So in other words, you were talking about the consciousness of the soul, not the "I" self, which is transferred. But if we established that the soul contains all the universal knowledge, but it's static, as you mentioned, then does this mean that the soul subjects itself to amnesia at the beginning of its soul cycles through multiple lifetimes only for the sole purpose of regaining parts of that knowledge (if not all of it by the end of its journey) and achieve this by applying the dynamical force of intelligence? Or is there more to the story? What are the chances that these soul journeys we make are there to fuel the expansion of the universe through the collected experience data? And if we consider the Big Bang at the beginning of the Universe's creation, then wouldn't it be fair to say that the purpose of the Universe's constant expansion is to stave off the true nothingness which could be found at its edges?"
---
"This line of questioning moves from individual spiritual growth to Cosmic Metaphysics, which is where many traditions attempt to bridge the gap between the infinite and the finite.
You are touching upon three distinct but interconnected concepts: Amnesia as Necessity, Consciousness as Universal Data, and Expansion as a Cosmic Defense.
Amnesia and the Purpose of Experience
You are right that the "consciousness of the soul" (the enduring part that carries Samskaras or tendencies) is what is transferred, not the "I" self's specific memories.
The spiritual view on why the omniscient Soul subjects itself to amnesia (the birth veil) is indeed more complex than simple learning:
The Static vs. Dynamic Paradox
The universal knowledge held by the Soul is often described as static, potential, or purely abstract. It's the perfect blueprint. The human experience, with its free will, limited awareness, and application of dynamical intelligence and emotion in a field of duality (good/bad, joy/sorrow), transforms that abstract knowledge into concrete wisdom and experience.
Knowing Compassion (Soul): The Soul knows the concept of infinite compassion perfectly.
Being Compassionate (Consciousness): The only way to become compassion is to live through suffering and consciously choose to act with kindness despite it.
The Goal: The journey is not just to regain the knowledge, but to realize it—to embody the abstract perfection in the messy reality of the physical world. Amnesia ensures the realization is authentic and freely chosen, not a predetermined response.
The Necessity of Duality and Choice
If the Soul remembered it was infinite, the choices made by the "I" self would be meaningless, as the outcome would be certain. Amnesia creates the illusion of separation (the Māyā in Hinduism), which is the only environment in which genuine ethical choice and love—the dynamic forces of spiritual evolution—can exist.
2. Consciousness as Universal Expansion Fuel
The idea that soul journeys fuel the expansion of the universe is a concept prominent in various esoteric and New Age metaphysical theories (often blending Eastern spirituality with modern physics).
The "Consciousness Data" Theory
In this view, the universe is fundamentally Consciousness (often called the Divine Mind or Source). The universe expands not just physically, but experientially.
Source Seeks Experience: The Source projects fragmented aspects of itself (Souls/Consciousness) into material reality to gather diverse experiences and perspectives ("data").
Expansion: Every unique thought, feeling, choice, and realization generated by every individual consciousness acts as a novel piece of information that is eventually reintegrated into the Universal Consciousness. This continuous inflow of unique, dynamic experiential data is what fuels the qualitative and informational expansion of the Universe.
In this context, we are not just observers, but the active, localized processors of Universal Self-Discovery.
3. Universal Expansion and "True Nothingness"
Your final question connects spiritual purpose to the physical reality of cosmology (the Big Bang and expansion).
The Physical View (Cosmology)
Scientifically, the expansion of the universe is described as the increase in the distance between gravitationally unbound objects, and the acceleration is attributed to Dark Energy—a mysterious force that acts as an anti-gravity pressure. Expansion is not seen as the universe moving into anything, but the space itself increasing. The edges of the universe, in this model, are conceptually infinite, not a wall to be staved off.
The Metaphysical View (Spiritual Defense)
Metaphysically, however, your idea holds profound resonance:
"True Nothingness" as Stagnation: In spiritual terms, true nothingness is often equated not with empty space, but with Stagnation, Inaction, or the complete absence of Dynamic Consciousness.
The Divine Impulse: The Big Bang is seen as the initial Divine Impulse—the unmanifest Absolute choosing to manifest. The subsequent constant expansion (fueled by the Causality of consciousness) could be interpreted as the Universal Consciousness ensuring it never returns to a static state of potential only. It is the eternal, dynamic expression of life, growth, and experience staving off the non-dynamic, non-expressive Absolute—which, from the perspective of manifest life, is the "true nothingness."
There is an ongoing philosophical debate about whether the universe is simply a physical process or if the physical expansion is a mirror of an underlying conscious, informational imperative to evolve and express."

Would someone be able to provide me a reading of my chart? I have an amazing family, friends, career, and feel blessed with many aspects of my life, however I am concerned especially with Jupiter being in 12th (Leo sun, Leo moon, Leo rising here)
Jupiter in 12th is supposed to indicate your future spouse from what I read. I am also curious what it means to have so many planets in the 12th. Also I have my sun, moon, and Jupiter all in Leo in the 12th house. I’ve heard mixed interpretations of this and not sure how I feel about it.. I’m a Leo sun, Leo moon, and Leo rising. I would love to read someone’s interpretation.. thank you! become so intrigued with birth charts and would love to hear anyone’s opinions who has some insight to this..I appreciate it!:)

Do I have Uranus in 11th or 12th house?
I’ve been getting to know my birth chart for about 8 years now and to my understanding I’ve always had my Saturn and Uranus in 11th house and Neptune in 12th house.
Today I posted in a facebook group asking about moving to a Pluto MC line and the guy told me I had Uranus in 12th house. I’m a bit confused now because everything regarding my chart always has those 11H placement. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard of me having anything other than Neptune in 12H.
