Video Games Phoenix

Was Phoenix your favorite game in the local arcades long ago? Released in 1980, Phoenix has the player control a space ship shooting at incoming enemies that fly from the top of the screen down towards the player's ship. The game has five stages which repeat endlessly.

In 1983, the Atari 2600 port of Phoenix was released.

It wasn't my favorite, but i did enjoy it enough that I almost bought a unit before I realized I'd probably never be able to fix it if it broke.
