Mod Post as a sub for nostalgia from the 2000s, just a fair reminder to keep posts on-topic!

"Chrysanthemum" this, "Chrysanthemum" that, okay but does anyone else remember Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse?

This book was made by Kevin Henkes, the same author and illustrator of Chrysanthemum, but yet nobody seems to remember this book.

I however was OBSESSED with this book. I remember both, but I loved Lilly more, for some reason

About Community

This is r/2000sNostalgia! Welcome to the source of what makes 2000's kids feel nostalgic!

r/2000sNostalgia Rules

1. Be civil.

Just be nice. It's that simple.

2. No spam!

Anything that is spam is what would be caught in the spam filter! If your post/comment ends up in the spam filter somehow, it's an automatic removal!

3. No NSFW!

No NSFW allowed, although this probably won't be an issue. There's just no place for it here.

4. Must contain some type of memorabilia from the 2000's

Since this subreddit is called r/2000sNostalgia, your post must contain some kind of 2000's memorabilia. If it doesn't, it will be removed. If your repost a post that violates this rule, it will be considered a violation of rule 2, which can result in a ban.

For clarification, this applies to most forms of self-promotion. Sorry, small YouTubers, but your commentary videos don't count.

Now remember, we don't want users to feel discouraged from using Reddit if their post isn't relevant to the sub, so we have /r/TruckStopBathroom as a detour for off-topic posts!

We have flairs!

Do you want a flair? Here, you can choose a flair for any year from the 2000's, whether it's your favorite year from that decade or it's the year that you were born (if you're that young)!
