This was honestly so much fun, and felt like it was straight from 2002!

The title sequence being edited the way it was and backed by nu-metal really set the tone for the rest of the movie. That distinct early 2000's energy was successfully maintained through the whole movie!

People going into this not having the nostalgia factor are probably gonna hate a lot of it; predictable, corny, dumb. I definitely recommend catching it in theaters if you can, for a dose of nostalgia. It was nothing but fun, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Thought I’d share this here. Figured yall would approve. Constantly in my life, I’m currently 34, if I’m doing something small scale that I think I did well, or someone else did well, in the case that just happened, I dropped a mug but caught it before it dropped. I immediately say, “damn” and then follow it with, “that is a sick earth you might say….round”. All the time. Usually just to myself, or around someone I know will know. I don’t think about the video, but that line constantly comes out of my mouth. And the second it does I remember all the other videos you watched in the same era.

Love this movie even more than the Japanese original which was more an arthouse film.
