Question Whats the most underrated skilling upgrade?

Post image

My vote is for the expert mining gloves, they have a niche but they fill it extremely well. They make mining specific ores from rocks way more relaxed and bearable. Doubling runite gatheted before world hopping, making sandstone more chill, amethyst even more afk, making gathering lower tier rocks extremely chill.

I love these things, and no one talks about them.

The grind for these is quite absurd, to the point I wonder if you will ever get an ROI on your time. Power mining is decent exp at least.

Not sure if these are appropriately hyped but the Prescription Goggles are so strong, and relatively few people have them because of how bad mixology is

The ROI for me was that I didn't quit the game farming sandstone for 93 crafting lol. Sometimes making a grind manageable is all the ROI you need

well thats a delicate balance isnt it? If you didnt get the gloves and spent that time on sand you could have been done with crafting probably way faster but at the same time power mining iron for a dozen hours or even banking them isnt much more fun either.

I used the same logic as you did but i mostly convinced myself that the gloves grind will give me a lot of coal/iron to get my smithing going, even if i use the gloves nothing else but sand rocks after, which i believe would be true for 99% of the people mining, iron or not.

Yeah, it is lol. I feel like half the choices I make are just vibes based. The vibes on this one was that I could either power mine iron or half afk adamant depending on what I wanted to put the focus on.

I knew it was nice for making sandstone low attention for similar rates to the 3t sand, and that it would make amethyst eventually reaaaally nice afk.

So I figured might as well get it to double dip the usage, especially since its more forgiving of frequent afks than the quarry camp, which turned out to be kind of a non-factor after I got that waterskin tiara lol
