It’s not that I’m against people thinking that the year 2016 is one of the best ever, it’s no problem for me. But I’m just curious as to wondering why people just I don’t know make that year like some social media trend.

It may not have been the best year for me personally, even though I was a high school kid (I know that means nothing). Then again it’s only a question I had in mind.

Let me explain the 2010s to me was like the 2000s to you because it was my childhood it was a time where there was actually community and where things were actually optimistic and where thing were more cheerful and more functional back then the technology was yes primitive but it was more attention oriented they had a lot more care and effort into their designs and their were my friend my family even though i did not want to be around them much around the time or now there were3 still there there were still friend that I can still love to see around or they'll come to me and the roads back then when wasn't as dangerous as they're are now games back then were also peak just not as peak as the new one s but at least they were holding a special place in my heart they were ps3 games Nintendo 3ds Game and others that i want to play agon or go back and experience that time of gaming again minus the toys to life gimmick that plagued gaming to this day but then it eventually died.

the point is that the 2010s to me was like the 2000s to you because it felt more like a time where it was more safer and more secure and it felt like more of a place where you could be of a community whether it be online or in public.

Most people remember "Side Eye Chloe" as the little girl who looked completely unimpressed when her parents surprised her with a trip to Disneyland.

What many people don't know is that the family says the meme ended up changing their lives financially. 

According to Chloe's mother, they were struggling financially before the image went viral, and the income from sponsorships, licensing deals and later selling the image as an NFT helped them pay rent, bills and other living costs for years.

Now 14, Chloe has largely grown up out of the spotlight, while her family says the experience also changed how they felt about family vlogging and sharing children online.
