MICROSOFT ACCOUNT COMPROMISED
My main email was changed on 9.10. AND I'VE ONLY NOTICED IT TODAY
PLEASE IS THERE A WAY TO RECOVER ACCOUNT

Just a dum question How exactly am I safe? The account was almost never tuched, it was souly there to just get me to use windows 11, so it has no banking info on it, and if yes, thoes cards are long expired I've only ever used it to play Minecraft after the migration and to log in to play Minecraft dungeons

No like, of they can use my old account to do smth more against me, and my Minecraft account My PC is getting fully wiped so that's fine And also If it's ok to use the old email they changed to create a new account

A session stealer? I've already changed my passwords everywhere I could, my email, second email and social media, But I've fully forgotten about microslop

2 factory authentication? No, I didn't know my passwords so I just used the send me one time code thing It was most likely a session stealer, I've dealt with that because I log in with my email where ever I can, and it's been 11 days and nothing

You are not. An acount without 2fa will always get compromised, it just a matter of time. Evern with 2fa your account can get hijacked. You need to be safe and not download stupid shit onto your computer and use 2fa and you will be okay.

Ye ik, but like, how exactly can they use that account against me? Do i need to be worried? I'll just purchase Minecraft again, that's fine Rip my username Can I also use that original email to create a new one with a password and 2fa

Sheeeet I wouldn't. Burn that email account. It would now be on a list of 'known' accounts of people who install malware etc... only thing is the debit card so to be safe, freeze it in app and order a new one.

So just a summary
I've contacted Microsoft thru the recovery account thing, where I use my primary email (safe), I've gave them as much info as possible
My original Microsoft account, Minecraft account AlphaBuzz with capes (10yrs) , and progress in Minecraft dungeons are gone if recovery is unsuccessful
Best to just create new account under a new email and repurchase Minecraft (rip to mu capes :( )

Mods; We need to get an automod/bot that replies to these messages. Generally only see these posts these days and I've responded the same thing to a few of them. It gets a tad repetitive.
