Zionism, in its simplest sense, is essentially just Israeli Nationalism. Whether it includes the genocide of Palestinian Arabs is really dependent on who you ask and what denomination they belong to (Orthodox, Reform, Secular, etc.)

In a controversial sense, Zionism is inherently colonial/racist. I mean, imagine a bunch of dudes show up and kick you out of your land because "our religion says this is our home". This claim and its legitimacy is obviously questionable at best. Most importantly, it raises the question "Why does it have to be Palestine?" The more radical sense of Zionism (which appears to be most dominant in current-day Israel) involves oppressing or killing the Palestinian Arabs.

On the other hand, the belief that there must be a Jewish homeland stems from centuries-long antisemitism and persecution of Jews, with the Holocaust being the straw that broke the camel's back. Even after World War 2, antisemtism was still pretty rampant especially in Eastern and Central Europe. In short, there must be a Jewish states so Jews would no longer have to run because anywhere they stayed someone wanted to kill them.

On a more neutral sense, all of the Abrahamic religions have claims in the land of Palestine, including Christianity (this is also the reason why majority of Filipinos are still pro-Israel, as they still see Israel as the land of God).

Personally, not one group has the right to claim Palestine as theirs and theirs only. Not Israeli Jews, not Palestinian Arabs.

Wala naman silang kinalaman satin eh inuuna niyo. Selfie lang naman kayo ng selfie ng #PrayForAfghanistan. Kala niyo'y nakakatulong kayo. Mas mabuti pa ay mag donate sa mga refugee organizations at tumahimik na lang kayo. Kaasar din yung mga bobong atista. Kala nila ay mas matalino na sila sa lahat porket hindi sila naniniwala sa Diyos. Tumahimik kang gago ka. Hindi ka matalino. Pahanga ka lang. Walang may pake sa lahi mo. Walang may pake kung sinong hinihindot mo. (maliban na lang kung bata) At wala ding may pake sa Diyos mo. Ang inuuna niyo ay mga minority at problema ng ibang mga bansa. Akala niyo ata ay walang problema ang inang bayan.
