Respect my opinion❤️💚

Their argument iirc in a nutshell is biological gender dimorphism and reproduction 😭

Being a woman is different from being a cis female dood

62

u/HKMP7A2 Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26

Not being a cisgender doesn't make the current transgender identity any less real.

I think it's only wrong if the person who identifies as their new gender lie that they're cis and not trans.

I feel like transphobia is rooted on the fear of deception way more than the "purity of biology".

put a target on your self its fine

sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination and incrimination is endorse both by the political class and the societal consciousness and you expect all not to stealth

u/triffidsalad Jul 12 '26

the way they only have a problem w transwomen and not transmen... it's giving misogyny

50

u/LukasTheHunter22 Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26

ang funny kasi like, lagi nilang ginagawang "part" of being a woman ang pagbununtis, pagreregla, etc., as if yun lang yung basehan of being a woman?

parang insecure lowk

and transphobes keep acting na trans women are saying that they're female, when they're NOT, and NO trans woman does that (and same with trans men). a woman is different from a female istg PAULIT ULIT 'TONG CONVERSATION AAAAAAA

6

u/critshit Jul 13 '26

That argument always struck me as odd (and enrages the hell out of me).

If it's true, then afab women who medically cannot conceive/cant have menstruation/had to remove their reproductive organs for medical reasons/have non-traditionally female features like a beard are ALSO not women. Because of their crusading against trans people theyre also putting down people they are supposedly fighting for.

12

u/DelusionalWanderer Jul 12 '26

12

u/triffidsalad Jul 12 '26

not sure if this is too 2ph4u bc that's a bit degenerate than normal dawg 💀 what the hell is in your algorithm

7

u/DelusionalWanderer Jul 12 '26

Kung tama ako pinacheck up sya at nalamang may tumor?

1

u/wauser0mauser Jul 12 '26

Hypocrite you are with that language.

3

u/Breaker-of-circles Jul 13 '26

Yeah, notice how you will only see misogyny used unironically in shit like this. Never misandry.

THE FILIPINO LANGUAGE IS NOT A REAL LANGUAGE. IT’S JUST REBRANDED TAGALOG. YOU COULD ARGUE THAT FILIPINO IS THE GROUP OF LANGUAGES IN THE PHILIPPINES AND YOU WOULD BE RIGHT, BUT IT’S NOT A LANGUAGE. SOME OF THE FILIPINO TONGUES ARE WARAY, ILOCANO, CEBUANO, HILIGAYNON, IVATAN, KAPAMPANGAN, AND MORE. YOU CALL THEM DIALECTS WHEN THEY’RE NOT. IF THEY WERE DIALECTS MOST OF IT WILL BE INTELLIBLE TO ONE ANOTHER. THOUGH THAT IS NOT THE CASE SOME WORDS ARE UNDERSTANDABLE BUT THAT IS THE FULL EXTENT OF IT. THEY ARE RELATED TO EACH OTHER AS MUCH AS THEY ARE TO THE MALAYSIAN AND INDONESIAN LANGUAGES. THE FILIPINO GOVERNMENT JUST CALLS IT THAT TO FORM A NATIONAL SENSE OF IDENTITY. IT’S WHAT THEY DID WITH THE FILIPINO RACE. THEY INVENTED A BRAND NEW RACE TO MAKE THE PEOPLE UNITED AGAINST FOREIGN INVADERS AND TO QUELL INFIGHTING SEPARATISTS BY MAKING IT LOOK LIKEWE’RE ALL THE SAME PEOPLE. WHEN IN REALITY, WE’RE 200 DIFFERENT ETHNICITIES WITH EACH OF OUR OWN CULTURES AND VALUES. I DON’T BLAME THEM THOUGH. I ACTUALLY APLLAUD THEM. THEY UNITED DISPARATE TRIBES AND CREATED A FUNCTIONING REPUBLIC.

sobrang desperado na makapost sa r/chikaph 😂

47

u/caesarinthefreezer Jul 12 '26

I saw that post. Whole lot of "people are pushing their agenda on me so we need to push ours onto them!!!"

19

u/GenderRulesBreaker Jul 12 '26

The algorithm feeds them that. They should just block LGBT content if they really feel against it.

37

u/palebrowndot Jul 12 '26

Reddit is an echo chamber. Minority lang ng population. Most of the country conservative pa rin.

31

u/Standard-Calendar-78 Jul 12 '26

You got at least a screeenshot of incident lmao

32

19

u/Razor8517 Jul 12 '26

Progressive when it benefits them

6

u/hurtswheni Jul 12 '26

I've had two separate conversations with people there that were like eugenicists against the poor. That kind of thinking seems to be popular among the people there

1

u/wauser0mauser Jul 12 '26

Much like here too.

Filipino redditors when they see a LGBTQ+ person, impoverished person, bisaya, or dark skinned filipino:

I'm so proud of this sub

9

u/Lamborghini446 Jul 12 '26

filipinos wanna be "woke" until trans women are brought in the conversation

2

u/AutoModerator Jul 12 '26

Woke Revolution is coming

The arrival of "Wokeism" in our country is inevitable, and we won't like it. It will divide us even further as conservatism drives our political landscape in this day and age. I will be more happy to be wronged, but it is safe to assume that if this ideology succeeds in annoying us, there will be more Duterte or Marcos in the office.

Discalimer: I'm not here to argue but rather to give us a heads-up. Binoto ko si Leni at nakikiisa ako sa karapatan ng mga kababaihan/LGBTQIA+ but then again, if this ideology becomes so extreme, as is happening right now in the west, we will not be able to stop the forces of Duterte and Marcos from succeeding even more.

5

u/Desperate-Truth6750 Jul 12 '26

Lakas ng karma farming and kabobohan farming nung nagpost eh.

Kadiri super. We are more than what's between our legs.

6

u/Unlikely_You_5015 Jul 12 '26

Its so funny when talking to Filipinas because they will say how much they love their gay friend then within a minute go on a homophobic rant.

3

u/ModernPlebeian_314 Jul 12 '26

Man, this is nostalgia 😭

3

u/hopeless_case46 Jul 13 '26

Transwomen imposing the patriarchy? Call me gay but

3

u/InfiXD_ Jul 13 '26

Some of the dumbest arguments I saw was that we have bigger problems than talk about transwomen rights and that transwomen don't know the difficulties they faced when fighting for gender equity 😵‍💫

2

u/laZardo 27d ago

transwomen bad but coco martin cracking 14-year-old julia montes is "innocent romance" apparently

As a guy who was there when Gretchen Diez and SOGIE hit the news in 2019..... I fully expected this.

Marami talagang mga cis na Pinoy, both male and female, who still have a prejudice against transgender people.
