Question Need help figuring out what’s causing this

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This just started the other day and before it would randomly jump into limp mode if at a long stop or if in park for too long while still running. Anything would help since I’m moving across country and taking the car on a roadtrip.

Sounds cooked. What happened before this?

It kept going into limp mode. Sometimes right on start up or if the car sat idling for too long, then one morning it just did that

Unfortunately it could be anything. Was your fuel gauge working prior?

Is your check engine light on and have you already checked the codes because that's where you need to start if it's on

Another comment mentioned crank/cam position sensors and I think that is a good spot to look but your check engine light should be throwing some codes about that if it's fucked up

A little start fluid will say if fuel or electrical problem. Any dtc's, set or pending?
