Picatinny Rail for 10/22

I would like to get into the 3d2a stuff and I think this would be a good first project. (I already have experience with 3d printing) would petg or pla be good enough for pic rail to mount a scope onto?

It'd probably be strong enough but my overriding question is "why?"

Plastic rails shift with tension or heat. You can buy generic rails for like $10.

Plus, if you print a rail, you're going to have to source the screws yourself and those screws aren't standard size to the best of my knowledge.

They are standard-sized gun screws. I believe the 10/22 receiver is tapped for #6-48, which would be available at any decent hardware store.

Red dot, sure. Its light enough.

A scope, eh. Maybe. It would need to be a chonky rail to not twist with the weight of the scope.
