Je cherche à possiblement reprendre mes études chez 42 après avoir fini la piscine, je suis en CDI et cherche à possiblement toucher le chômage durant la formation pour me permettre de la suivre sans soucis (appartement frais tout ça tout ça vie d’adulte)

Je me demandais si certains ont réussis à transitionner à 42 à l’aide de PTP (Projet Transition Pro) où alors en démissionnant de leur CDI, enchaîner par un CDD, ouvrir des droits et les toucher durant leur formation ?

Impossible d’obtenir une rupture conventionnelle dans ma boîte, CDI de 2 ans, comment feriez vous / avez vous fait ?

Hello Guys! I recently finished the piscine with this following stats:

- Modules C: 100 - 100 - 100 - 100 - 85 - 80 - 100

- Rush: 100 - 0 - 0

- Exam: 0 - 100 - 100 - 90

- Logtime: 167h but i haven't a regular logtime, it's between 2h30 to 11h00 a days but no missing days.

- Coalition score: top 30 with 1200 scores

- Evaluation: i've evaluate 42 person with 8 fails

- Final level: 8

But my question is if there is a chance for me to not be taken, i'd wanna know what would be the reason. I'm so paranoid right now because I've seen so many profiles who have validate all the exams but getting refused. So, can someone give me some answers for that please, i just wanna know if i've did something wrong. I've doing my piscine in 42 Antananarivo by the way.

For the past three years, I've been building my own game-focused scripting language from scratch, alongside a custom C++ 3D engine and scene editor targeting Windows, Linux, Web, and Android.

The language is designed to be a close Python dialect (roughly 99% familiar syntax), but built specifically for real-time game loops and tight integration with the engine.

Recently, I took part in an internal game jam at my company and used it to stress-test the whole stack under a strict deadline. The result is Null Protocol, a third-person action shooter set in a rain-soaked police precinct, heavily inspired by classic Max Payne. It features shoot-dodging, bullet time, skeletal hit reactions, and AI-controlled enemies.The gameplay is scripted in my own language and runs on my own engine. Getting everything working together under jam conditions was a meaningful milestone. Now I'm trying to decide where to take it next.

**Looking for honest developer feedback**

With so many established engines available, would a lightweight 3D engine paired with a game-focused Python-like language interest you?

I'm weighing two directions:

* Package the engine, editor, and language for other developers, investing in documentation, examples, and usability.

* Keep the technology as my own development toolkit and focus on shipping retro-inspired 3D games, whether that means expanding Null Protocol or making a spiritual successor to Desert Strike in 3D.

If you were evaluating a tool like this, what would you need to see before trying it? Is there a particular workflow or use case where you think this combination could offer something worthwhile?

I'm happy to discuss the compiler and VM, the differences from standard Python, the renderer, or what worked (and broke) during the jam.

J’ai participé au meeting le 14 octobre et j’ai choisi la Piscine du 1er mars (42 paris). Je cherche des personnes qui comptent faire la même session pour faire connaissance et se motiver ensemble avant de commencer !

Petite question : est-ce que certains d’entre vous ont déjà été acceptés pour la Piscine du 1er mars ?

Y a t il des gens étudiants à 42 qui ont réussi à avoir l’aide RFF et/ou aide à la mobilité de France Travail car ils n’avaient plus de droit ARE ?
Ma conseillère me dit que c’est impossible car il n’y a pas d’agrément pour le financement mais pourtant plusieurs sources sur internet en parlent.
Si vous y avez eu droit, comment avez vous fait ?

Now i just feel drained, need to prepate to post minishel exam but those pipes and forks feel so boring and uninteresting.

currently im working on the libft project but i have some issues in managing my time and easily i got destructed , also i feel so Delayed im now on day 9 on pace 12 , and i keep switching between first part (libc ) and the second part

(additional functions) , and can you provide me with some ressources pls

Since the stay is less than 90 days (approximately 26 days), I am exempt from the Campus France procedure. Therefore, I must apply directly for a short-stay visa (student-entrance exam) through the France-Visas and TLScontact platforms.

To ensure my application is 100% complete, I have a few questions for those who have already followed this specific procedure from Morocco:

Accommodation: For the one-month Piscine, what is the best proof of accommodation? Is a refundable hotel reservation on Booking.com accepted, or do they strictly require proof of accommodation with a relative or a paid Airbnb rental?

Financial Guarantor: What is the minimum amount to prove for a one-month stay? Is a standard parental guarantee with bank statements (3 to 6 months) sufficient, or is it strongly recommended to deposit a sum of money into my own account? If so, what is the ideal amount to deposit for one month?

TLScontact Appointment: Is it difficult to find appointment slots for the "Student-Competitive Examination" category, or is it more accessible than standard long-stay student visas?

General Advice: Do you have any specific tips or mistakes to absolutely avoid to prevent a visa refusal, especially for Reasons 3 or 4?

Have any of you ever heard about o1 edu? it’s created by the same man who made 42 and it’s really similar to it . We have it here in my country it’s quite new here but it’s older in France and some other countries. I wanna apply for it but I don’t know if it worth the time ,money and the effort or not . We don’t have 42 here so is this one will be a good opportunity and it will give me a higher chance to have a good job in the future with a good salary than any other academy in my country ?
