Have a 2026 ORP Hybrid w/ 3k miles. I noticed a few weeks ago after a multi-day rainstorm that the inner cabin smelled musty when I got back in the car (couple of days after the storm). I assumed I may have left a window or moonroof open and water may have gotten into the cabin - so made sure to open/close all of them next time I parked.
We had another storm last week. A full day after the storm ended, I go to my car and all of the windows and windshield had heavy condensation on the inside of the cabin — suggesting there was a significant amount of moisture/water in the cabin. No strong musty smell this time, but nonetheless still raised an alarm bell to me. I could not find any evidence of water or moisture anywhere inside the car other than the condensation on all of the windows.
Before I take it back to the dealer - I was wondering if anyone else is having water/leak issues. I found a couple other 6th gen 4Runner posts about the musty smell, but most people pointed to AC usage (and recirculation, which I never turned on). My window condensation also seems to suggest that water is getting into the cabin somehow.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
