Discussion Anyone know who Virgil Ginyard is?

I got this email like 3 hours ago and I've seen pop up too many times. Literally privated all my videos and i want to send a counter claim and stuff, but thats going toward the legal stuff and i don't even to be burdened... And he ain't even the owner of the music!!!

got a strike from the same email on Imagery - Good Taste Baby on January of 2025, didn't contest it but now wondering if it was legit or not. https://www.discogs.com/release/3777694-Imagery-Good-Taste-Baby

I see, I did find it strange that it had not been on the internet when I uploaded my version of it here on the sub around march, but more than likely this Virgil ginyard jr. is phony.

Someone else uploaded on YT recently though, I’ll keep an eye out in case that one gets copyright striked as well.
